This is one of my favorite places to camp, especially while cycling. It's not usually very busy and it's right on the D&L Canal trail. The sights are nicely separated by greenery and are quiet because they're far from the road. The toilets and running water are a long walk from the sites, but they are always clean and well maintained. Plus, there is a nice disc golf course. Highly recommended.

We go here mainly for the summertime polo matches every Saturday afternoon. It's great to tailgate and watch the action!
Bring snacks if you like. Tent, chairs, etc.
Only $10 a car entry fee.
Great value for a couple hours of fun for the whole family. Very friendly atmosphere.

Great starting point for biking. Right now the Pa trail is closed at Lambertville bridge. But typically this makes a nice 20 mile trail loop. Staring at this park, crossing at Lambertville then following the NJ trail up to the next crossing and back to PA. There are nice shops, restaurants and scenery along the way and in the summer there are great places to stop and picnic or take a dip in the river.

Polo picnic fun day. Worth the small fee they charge per car. You pack and bring your own picnic and watch the riders play polo. Great fun.

I can tell you honestly I have never been to a Polo Match before this weekend, but I am certain to be back! For $10 per car you can tailgate the games occurring at the park. The car next to us won best tailgating and got a prize so we will be back next time with an even better set up! Great way to experience something new and get out of the house on a beautiful (albeit rainy) day.

I love Tinicum park! I enjoy walking along the paths with my dogs and always meet nice people along the way. It's my understanding you can also camp here for a reasonable rate. There's also a fun disc golf course. Absolutely recommend!

Great location on the D&L. Biked 35 miles here (from Bethlehem) on the trail for an overnight biking trip. Short ride into town for lunch and beverages. Very minimal campsite but exactly what I wanted. Bathrooms are a bit of a walk but very close porta potty. The park itself is nice as well with lots of open space, a playground, disc golf, and even Saturday polo matches when in season.

Its a small nice park for camping, I was there with a group of 32 people From New Jersey. There are only a few camping spots. The we had was big enough to accommodate us all. There is also a gazebo with benches and grills. The Pennsylvania parks have much more lenient rules than NJ, a huge plus as well. The Bathrooms are beautiful and well kept!

We were there for the Tinicum Art Fest. It's a great place for an outdoor festival as it affords a good amount of shade.
As well as there is a nice flow to the park....going from one area to the next.
The barn is a good feature too....

Very nice area. Attended a wedding and it turned out beautiful. Grounds appeared well kept and the barn was also well kept. Bathrooms were very clean, and that is not often seen in an outdoor restroom. Lovely place.

Beautiful place. Has disk golf and large fields for events. Recently they hosted a few festivals. They accommodate weddings offering a restored old barn that parties utilize.

A road (or towpath) less travelled. A great place for walking, running, biking and strolling with a little one. When the canal is full of water it is so much better but alas it is mostly not.
