Kitty Korner Cafe

Such a perfect cafe for cat lovers!! Enjoyed meeting and playing with kitties and cats. They provided us slippers before encountering. The atmosphere was creative and cats were anywhere. :) Staff was friendly and professional. Did order latte, mocha, and a maple doubt. They were good. We would definitely stop by when are in town!

I love the kitty Korner. My family has adopted 3 cats from this Cafe and I still keep coming back for visits. Coffee is wonderful, and the company (cats) is fantastic.

The cats are lovely! So many high & low spots! Many were very curious, friendly, I filled out an application!

If you're a cat person and missing your brethren, this is your place. The $5 fee for a 30 minute visit goes to pay for their food and upkeep. If you fall in love with a feline here you can apply to adopt it! The teas are delicious and vibe is divine.

Ok so the restaurant is closed, consider this a review of the cat aspect. We showed up on a day when both the cafe and the flower shop were closed, just happened to drive by and stop. There was an employee cleaning up inside who took a break from their work to come outside and chat with us about their business and their kitties. We really loved the chance just to see all the sweet, healthy cats through the window and learn about them. The space looks massive, full of toys and enrichments for the beasts, a great place to stay until they find their forever homes! Hope the business recovers from the flood damage quickly and can’t wait to stop by next time we are in town.

I stumbled upon this cafe when I was visiting Vermont and looking for a coffee shop. I'm a huge cat lover, so I was excited to find this cat cafe. My chai tea latte was great, and the cats were adorable. There is a small fee ( I think it was $10) to go into the area with the cats for about half an hour. There were a lot of kittens and some older cats as well when we went. A lot of the kittens are transported from Southern states. We are thinking about adopting another cat in the Fall, and we may make the trip to see if we can adopt one of these cats.

I was staying in the area for a few days and still had to work so I paid for the entire day to be surrounded by a swarm of little land sharks.

They were all so adorable, and for someone who experienced a lot of loss in the past two years, incredibly therapeutic to feel such love from all you little cats and kittens.😊

Brought the grandchildren to visit the kitties. Staff were friendly, place was clean and the kitties were great!!! Will definitely go again to get my kitty fix!!!

I visited the cafe 2 years ago. We came from Chittenden County for my daughters birthday. We enjoyed the space so much that when we were looking for a home, we added Barre as a possible place. We moved here a year ago and have bought flowers from Alexis, and visited the cafe many times. They have all been so kind and welcoming. To see what a small group of people on FB have said about our local small business is so sad. How might we make a generous assumption and ask how we might help instead of bashing a local business who has been through the flood, pandemic and inflation like the rest of us. Alexis has shown me and my family such compassion. I wish the same for her. I’ll keep buying flowers, asking how I might help and supporting her.

Staff was attentive and kind. Baked goods and drinks were tasty. Lots of cute cats and plenty of toys and enrichment for them. I would suggest an air purifier or air circulation to help the air quality as it's a bit strong and dusty. I found myself feeling stuffed up (and I have many of my own cats so I'm no stranger to litter box dust). Overall the cats seem happier than they would be in shelter cages and what a great way to earn funds for them while providing attention while they wait for new homes.

Genuinely yummy beverages. Lattes, frappes, tea, juice, kombucha.

Plenty of selection in baked goods! Even a couple gluten-free and vegan.

Fun kitschy cat merch for sale, of both standard American variety and kawaii Pusheenesque sort: stickers, knitted hats, bowties, shirts, cards, art supplies, mugs, tumblers, stuffies, &c.

Amazing attention to detail.

Wonderful experience. Kind staff. I went back on 9/21/21 to meet a new kitten. I found out that they have adopted out 376 cats. How awesome is that!

This is a cute place, a good way to help support the Cats waiting for a Furever Home. I had a chance to go in and pet the kitties, that was nice! I enjoyed the Broccoli soup, watched the time go by, the town is cute, with art work not far from there, lots of little things to see EVERYWHERE in town, not just in this cafe. I had so much fun, I can't wait to go back, I bought a friend of mine a sticker so they know where I want to take them next! The cats are there all the time, make an appointment to go see whose available and they will help You apply for adoption. If I was in a position to adopt, I would definitely have done so! They are friendly cats that need to be social, mostly so they can stay social with people, I like what they do here!

We loved our visit with these friendly kitties and I hope to have a chance to come back the next time we're in Vermont. The staff was very kind as well.

I'm a big fan of the kitty Korner Cafe. They are always trying to improve and make a better experience. Some of the negative reviews are more or less that person was at fault. I've adopted a cat from here and little Susie has done wonders. Some suggestions for people who adopt cats from any place make sure you quarantine your new kitty from any other animal for at least two weeks. Cats don't always handle change very well so gradual change is the best option. Monitor your new furry friend closely as it is uncommon but can happen they can get sick from the changes.

Now for those who falsely accuse these people of not responding after they had a cat die I question them. This is a business as well and they have to follow strict guidelines by the state. They love every cat that comes through their doors. You can tell that each one is well loved just by talking to the owner. So question reviews that are possibly false.

The other items such as food are delicious. I'm gluten free not by choice so they provide some of the best treats that I can eat. I'll always recommend then.

I had an amazing experience here!! I ordered an iced coffee which was pretty good! We were allowed into a separate cat room in 30 minute intervals. The staff definitely care a lot about the cats! There were so many sweet cats, so many toys and so much space for them to play and sleep! I had a great time with the cats and will definitely be back soon!

Three of my very favorite things combined into a beautiful, and comfortable atmosphere; kitties, coffee, and treats!

The staff were so very nice, and getting to visit with the little cuties was my favorite part of course. Plus I met my little furry children here.

I loved being able to visit with them, and the adoption process was so painless and easy, and now I have another reason to look forward to getting home after a long day.

Seriously, if you love animals, an assortment of goodies, and a nice warm (or cold!) drink, this is the place to be. As an added bonus maybe you'll too fall in love with a little furry face, and add another addition to your family.
