1/31/24-Todau was our first visit here. Sl the vet techs were very friendly & the doctor was also very nice. she listened to my concerns i had for my puggle & she treated each issue our treated each if needed. The doctor also explained everything in terms i understood. My puggle enjoyed all the attention she got while in the office. We will definitely be going back. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring vet!

I am absolutely thrilled to share my incredible experience with Dr. MacDonald at Doylestown Veterinary Hospital and Holistic Pet Care! Dr. MacDonald's professionalism and compassionate nature left a lasting impression on me.

What truly stood out was Dr. MacDonald's exceptional level of helpfulness and non-judgmental approach. It was evident that he genuinely cared about the well-being of Fergus. Upon discussing Fergus's condition, Dr. MacDonald listened attentively, addressing all my concerns with patience and understanding.

Benji is caring and courageous 4 y/o cat that is so smart and sweet. He normally goes for 2-3 walks on a leash per day. Hates cars and hates long rides.

Luckily, the best local vet, Doylestown Veterinary Hospital, is a few minute ride. He had a growth under his right eye that was tested and confirmed to be a Mast Cell Tumor (cancerous growth).

Dr. Lugo was able to get him in for surgery on Dec 7th. We brought Benji back that day, he was ok given what he had just been through, but the started getting more seclusive the weekend after.

3 Days Post-up I was given an emergency appointment to take him in and Dr. McDonald checked for and confirmed an ulcerated corneal lining. He scheduled an emergency surgery for the next morning to fix the suchers (they did not charge, only for the antibiotic refill).

2 Days after 2nd surgery I bought Benji if for a scheduled appointment. Dr. MacDonald said he was heading in the right direction.

Monday December 18- Benji saw Dr. Lugo again and she said he was doing great and next time he could take the stitches out and his Elizabethan Collar off.

Today, Wednesday December 27, 2023 9:30AM

Met with Dr. Lugo. She took Benji's stitches out and told me that during the surgery that she believes there were enough margins t remove the cancerous cell and get it all. She let me keep my word to Benji, his collar was removed, and he got to go outside just like old times (but without a cancerous tumor under his eye!

We made a holistic appt with Dr. Macdonald yesterday and I just wanna say this place is elite in care for animals. Worth every penny! Since December we’ve had 3 anaphylaxis scares and spent thousands of dollars trying to treat our allergic girl, Mia. No one wanted to help us fix the route of the problem (her gut and immune system). We really were on the fence about allergy immunotherapy, apoquel, cytopoint, etc. just not the approach I knew we needed to take to get our girl feeling better. Dr. Macdonald's approach to getting her fixed from the inside first has given me all the relief I need as an anxious pet parent. I absolutely know she’s in good hands now. He really gave me so much beneficial information that I feel like I could never get from my primary or emergency vet. Of course that’s where his holistic nature and treatment comes in to play. We truly thank you so much for your expertise and are so excited to continue care with Doylestown Vet Hospital! We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you!!!

This was our Toy Poodle’s first visit with this vet. We felt right at home. Dr. Zimmerman drew all the right conclusions about our 5-1/2 year old girl and made reasonable recommendations for Lucy’s follow-ups and most importantly she listened to us. The staff was great in explaining all processes.

Brought our newly adopted English bulldog in today to see Dr MacDonald, and wow, what a great experience! The staff that assisted were wonderful, Vicky and the other vet tech. It was refreshing to actually have a conversation with Dr MacDonald about how to approach our dog's health and well-being, his suggestions were very much appreciated. I took a chance because this practice is an hour and 15 minutes from where we live, but I'm glad we went and met Dr MacDonald and the wonderful staff at Doylestown. I'll just add one last thought on price. The bill today was on the high side, but unfortunately what isn't expensive today with inflation rampant. My feeling was that while today's bill was on the high side the quality of care/service/professionalism was outstanding. I've spent years going to "cheaper" vets and the care was lacking in many different regards. Dr MacDonald and Doylestown is money well spent!

Every aspect of taking my dog to the vet is very positive The front staff is very kind and polite. The people who take the dog or handle the dog for the vet are all very loving and gentle. Dr. Palin is just one in 1 million. My dogs been very sick and her concern and follow through is just more than I Would’ve expected. She calls to make sure that the medication is working as it should or to make adjustments if needed.. I’m very grateful that I found them.

My first visit here, I was seen pretty quickly. The receptionists were very friendly, along with the tech who brought us back. Dr. McDonald and the tech (I do not know her name, she was very sweet), were very patient with my anxious dog. Unlike other vets I have seen, Dr. McDonald cares about WHY things are happening to my dog, not just treating; finding the issue at the source, which I love. The office is very nice and clean. I highly recommend this establishment- I have heard great things about the other doctors as well.

Everyone in the reception area is really nice and great with your treasured pet. The doctors and nurses are very knowledgeable and very compassionate and caring. I specifically chose this practice because they have holistic vets and I'm holistically minded. It means a lot to me to be able to approach my precious fur baby's health naturally and avoid drugs whenever possible. My previous vet wanted to routinely vaccinate annually, and at Doylestown Vet, they'll titer test to see if a vaccination or booster is needed. Many times they are not, and I don't want to needlessly endanger my fur baby's health by over vaccinating. I feel blessed to have found them, and I trust them completely with my fur baby's health and welfare.

My family and I had a great visit with Dr. MacDonald. He provided great suggestions and is a continuous learner, which means I know that I have found a very good veterinarian.

Very patient & kind staff were able to ease my very anxious Border Collie into cooperating for his vaccination. Thank you! Your efforts are so very appreciated!

I highly recommend this vet's office. We met today with Dr. Mimi Fitchett. This was our first consult because we were looking for a new vet. The doctor is incredibly indulgent and knows her stuff. She was super personable. All of the staff was extremely friendly and caring. This vet's office is the real deal. We will be going here from now on, after leaving a vet's office that we have been with for 21 years.

Thank you to everyone who helped us with our son in his final moments! What a loving and happy tears moment that they provided for our family! They helped make our difficult decision less complicated and treated us like their extended family with such warmth and compassion!

Doylestown hospital staff is amazing starting from front desk. Dr Laura Weis is very knowledgeable and professional veterinarian. I been bringing my dog to Dr Laura for many years for veterinary homeopathic treatment.

I have never left a veterinary practice with such a feeling of absolute confidence that my pet was given the best care. It was amazing to have undivided attention. From the minute I walked through the door i felt my pet was in good hands. A truly amazing experience. I have finally found the veterinary practice I dreamed of.

I can’t speak highly enough about this facility. From the front desk staff and every doctor and tech is amazing especially Doctor Lugo, she is very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. I drive 45 minutes to come here and it’s worth it.

Communications and examples of events and helpful ideas for care of our 6yo Chiweenie were thorough, clear, and focused on our dog's wellness.

Wouldn’t take our boys anywhere else. Moose looks forward to his routine vet visits and friendly faces (along with Potato!). The staff is wonderful and are so caring with our guys.

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about Dr. Laura Weis at this vet. I live an hour away in Cheltenham and still truck my little cat here! Our sweet kitty has asthma and we took her to a local vet who never mentioned anything about her diet and then wanted to keep her on steroids for the rest of her life. We wanted to take her to a holistic vet so I called around and just could not afford the places I was talking to and happened to hear about Dr. Laura by my sister who works at a natural pet food store and we decided to reach out to her. This was a turning point in our cats recovery, we switched her diet (learning about how bad dry food is for cats) and were given omega and homeopathic remedies for kitty. She has been improving so much since seeing Dr. Laura and I am so grateful. Dr. Laura is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable, I am blown away at how much attention we received for the same price that I was paying at the conventional vet! This place is worth the trip for us and I am just so grateful to have found her! I recommend this place to anyone who loves their animals!!!
