Frenchtown United Methodist Church

An historic and welcoming church just a few steps outside of the historic Frenchtown area. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the pastor's spouse, who told me a little about the church, let me take some pictures, and was so genuinely warm and welcoming.

Wonderful little food pantry open 24/7. Unattended, there are boxes and bags to help yourself to whatever is needed.ranges from full meals donated by local gourmet restaurants that were AMAZING! The night we went there was pork loin , thick sliced and covered with crumbled bacon in a sauce that was fabulous, came with yellow rice and vegetables. Also thick sliced fresh roast turkey with stuffing, gravy,and veg. I would def order from this restaurant if I could! There were also homemade soups both in the refrigerator and freezer, baked goods, bags of fresh bagels with butter or cream cheese, they also offer eggs,milk, etc but I'm guessing it depends on the time of day you go. As for dry goods, there's every vegetable you could want both canned and fresh, pasta of every kind, personal hygiene items, incl diapers, soaps, shampoo,etc. Baking needs,cereals, rices. It's a very small space that is filled with all you could need.

A very warm, inviting church that is involved in the community in many ways, including a 24 hour food bank.

Hospitable, delicious food, and Bazaar products are of good quality. AND the prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed it all.
