Mi Mex Cocina

The moment I walked into Mi Mex Cocina, I knew I'd fall in love. This place is absolutely adorable. The artwork, the ambiance, the music and lighting were wonderful. There is outdoor seating but it was too cold to sit outside once it warms up, I'm definitely venturing out onto the deck. The food was absolutely delicious, very authentic! AND the serving size for their meals and appetizers are huge. Happy to take home leftovers! And the bonus, although it's not needed to compliment the amazing food we were served, there are complimentary margaritas and they are delicious!!! The staff were so kind and welcoming. Definitely on my list of places to return.

Got the chicken tacos. They were delicious, tortilla chips and all the salsas are also delicious. Cant wait to come back. I got carey out but the decor is really cute!

Wow! Thoughtful, kind staff, lovely atmosphere, and the food were amazing! We got the delicious shrimp Molcajete - A sizzling hot authentic handcrafted volcanic stone bowl served with jalapenos, grilled cactus, scallions, queso fresco, fresh cilantro and salsa Verde, along with a side of black beans and Mexican Rice & Corn tortillas.

The staff, maybe the owner, was so kind and reminded us that the margaritas were complementary - we gave them a try, again, so good! The portion was very big, we had to take food to go and it looked like everyone left with bags too. Our new favorite place!

A true Latino restaurant! BYOB! The food is so good. Grab a drink from the cooler as you pass by then snag a menu and pull up a seat! This place is casual and comforting. The service is friendly and flavors are over the top perfection. Now that we have found this little gem, it is our main Mexican restaurant. Sorry, we were so excited over our meals we forgot to take photos!

My best friend recommended this place to me, she said it was really good authentic Mexican food. So I went on my lunch break and I really enjoyed it! They offer chips and salsa for the table which were tasty. I tried the ensalada de temporada. Everything was so fresh and it came in a taco bowl. I think it could be a meal on its own. I got the bolitas de cangrejo, they were alright, but a little heavy. And I tried a tacos dish as well and it was REALLY good. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. I would recommend and I will definitely be going back.

I hope I can properly describe how amazing this restaurant is. I ordered here randomly one day on my lunch break at work and I ordered the chicken torta which came with the most amazing seasoned fries and delicious house made chips and salsa. The chicken torta was and is absolutely out of this world perfection. It has everything you want on it and then some. So amazingly made. I made my boyfriend order with me next time to try and was immediately obsessed with this restaurant and sandwich just as much as me! We probably order from here at least 3 times a month now. We usually will order and pick up but we had the pleasure of sitting down to eat at our new favorite place recently.

We were not disappointed. Dining here just made us love the restaurant more. Every detail is some welcoming and impressive. You feel very at home! Like you’re just eating at your favorite cousins house! Lol, very friendly staff and incredibly reasonable prices. We ordered 4 quesadillas to go for my family and sat down for appetizers, a complimentary margarita, and two entrees. Can you believe the bill was only about $100? We have tried almost everything on the menu and not one complaint. Everything you can order here is authentic, made with love and delicious as hell. A million stars. Stop by here and tip GENEROUSLY! They deserve it.

Excellent food with excellent service. They are a small family-owned place with great food. Crunchy chips and pico de gallo right from the start. The taquitos, fajitas, and carne asada were also smashing. We loved the Spanish rice that comes with the entrée, extremely fragrant and flavorful. Portions are huge too! They are also accommodating of Mexican dishes that are not on their menu and will try and make it for you.

Quality food and great customer service. I ordered the fajitas and the tacos. It was fantastic and the quantity was good. Loved the flan and it was very tasty. I was skeptical about getting the tacos first but it was really good and came with three different sauces, tasty meat and also lot of stuffing. Great atmosphere and will definitely visit again. Great place and worth a try.

My family really enjoys this restaurant. We will often times grab a tray of tacos for a family event. Recently my wife and I decided to visit their store.

We enjoyed the food and service it was excellent! We sat outside since there was not a ramp into their building. Not a problem as it was a beautiful evening and they have heaters! We will definitely return soon!

Only recommendation would be a curb cut out to get wheelchairs onto the patio easier.

My new favorite Mexican food Restaurant! Great service from the friendly staff. Food came out quick, hot, and just spicy enough. The chips and salsa were super good. The fajitas and tacos were perfect—just needed one more tortilla than the two it came with.

We ordered out from Mi Mex last night as a last minute dinner. We were VERY impressed with our food! It was so good! I got chicken/steak fajitas and my husband got Rojas chicken enchiladas. The portions were so big, we have leftover fajitas for lunch today. The order was ready early. Came with chips and salsa too which was nice! We are so excited to have found another restaurant with phenomenal food. Can’t wait to order or dine in again!

Best Mexican we’ve ever had. BYOB and they give you a free margarita! Food was amazing.

We had a delicious dinner here! The service was great. The owner was very friendly. The atmosphere is lovely - colorful, warm and cozy with lots of plants. We will definitely be back soon!

This place is amazinggg! I’m sitting in the restaurant writing this review before I leave because it was that good!

I chose this place because I wanted Mexican and I didn’t know the Mexican places around this area, it had the best reviews so I figured we’d try it. BEST DECISION EVER!!! My son got a cheese quesadilla he loved (I tried it too and was impressed!). I got chicken fajitas - absolutely fantastic. Then my dad got a taco salad and he reported it being delicious. Nice ambiance - very colorful, cozy place.

The only side note Id write in is it’s not Spicy. Which is great for my son, I do prefer a little “kick” in my fajitas but it was still very flavorful without it. My dad ordered a side of hot sauce and he said that was very Spicy. So they’ve got the spicy if you want it.

I keep a list on restaurants I like best on my phone and I am most definitely writing this one down. I live in Lansdale but I’d travel to Colmar just to eat here. I highly recommend if you’re looking for some good Mexican.

We were interested in enjoying some great Mexican food in the area, and we definitely found it here! We had fajitas and chicken mole. We were so pleased with our food (yummy), experience with the waiter, easy-going feel of the building, and the complimentary margaritas were a surprising and nice touch (it is byob, tho). Definitely recommend - enjoy!💚

A great place to get Mexican food. We are vegetarian and always get the vegetable fajitas for takeout. More than ample portions of delicious food.

Update: still loving the vegetarian food! The vegetable fajitas and the kids’ bean burrito meal are sufficient to feed a family of four! Yum!

I'm a native San Diego, California born & raised! Authentic Mexican Food there is like Pizza & Hoagies here! My neighbor raves about this new place! I had to order & try tonight for myself! They deliver! Customer service over the phone A plus! Social distances courtesy was exceptional! O & the Food! OMGOODNESS it's Amazing! I'm giving this place an A plus! Please give them a try you will not be disappointed!
