National Floor Covering

When my husband and I first bought our house, one of the first stops I made was to National Floor Covering. I am a visual person, and it was so helpful to see so many physical samples. The team there was super knowledge, patient, and made our experience a breeze. I highly recommend their services!

We currently live in NJ but are relocating and building a home in the Midwest. We aren't able to travel there to make our flooring selections, but we found National Floor carried every line we were looking for. The staff allowed us to visit their store so that we could see the flooring options in person (as opposed to just seeing pictures online), and make our selections, even though we could not ultimately order the flooring from them. They have an impressive selection of hardwoods and carpet, and were so kind to answer our questions. If we could have ordered through them, we would have. Highly recommend them!

I had National Floor Covering refinish my hardwood floors in our kitchen and they looked better than they did when they were first installed. I referred them to my son and daughter-in-law to refinish their living and dining rooms and also did an awesome job and they too were very happy.

Horrible Experience stay clear I have to take them to court damaged my new basement and changed price of carpet no invoice to increase $573 more than what Barry told me on the phone. Charged me credit card now I have to fight them in court. I feel like standing outside there business and tell people what I think of them. Got different installer to finish job. Horrible experience never use them if you don't want to get ripped off.

Had a laundry room flood. Al came out Tuesday to see damage. There was water that leaked under our wood laminate and was urgent to have it pulled to salvage those pieces. No one came Wednesday. No call. Called them and was told installer couldn’t make it and was told he’d come Thursday. No show again. Had to call them. Al said “Definitely Friday.” Missed a day of work waiting around. Again, no show. Now last minute, wife gets a text saying installer will be there late morning/early afternoon (under an hour notice). The wood is warped and ruined and now smells like mold despite us doing what we could on our own. Do not recommend.
