Metá Café

Meta Cafe is an amazing place. The best espresso and chai we've had in months, and the "Meta Mac" is the breakfast sandwich that all others will be compared to from now on. If you can't see the sign, just look for all the happy people coming out of this little corner cafe. (Hint: it's next to the BBQ place)

High quality ingredients, well balanced, interesting menu. Had the Alexa, a complete flavor bomb, grilled cheese with Brie & Gryuere, prosciutto, arugula, fig jam. Excellent. Would've give them 5 stars across the board, but got some attitude when they told me they were out of Turkey, even though 3 of their sandwiches are Turkey based....a simple "sorry" or something would have been a better response.

This is a foodie hidden gem! The chorizo breakfast sandwich & Cait were so flipping good. Chai latte was also amazing. Staff was friendly. All around win!

No idea what a Philly muffin was till I came here... Outrageously good!! Amazing sandwich, simple shop, and a solid atmosphere if you're looking for some peace and amazing breakfast! Sandwich was out of this world!!

Cute little cafe just off bridge street. The coffee was amazing and the sandwiches were incredible. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed! The staff were friendly as well and the place was clean. We’ve been back every time we’re in the area.

The food here was delicious! I had the turkey & jam sandwich, and my husband had the jersey breakfast sandwich. Both were very tasty. There was a hearty portion of turkey in my sandwich, and the bread was somehow soft, yet crispy. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend!

My girl and I were heading out there for a day trip from the city. I had originally planned to go to another place down the road because online they said they were pet friendly but when we got there they said “Nope”.

It was early in the morning and we needed a place that was good and was pet friendly. I wanted more than a cafe but when I saw Metá’s reviews I called them and they said to come in over as they were pet friendly and serving breakfast.

First off, it is SUCH a cute place and despite the art and signage, the staff is SOOOO friendly and welcoming.

Secondly, the food,… wow! Definitely not what I expected from a cafe at all. The food was so fresh and truly unique. I love avocado toast so that was a no brainer for me, but the hands down winner that morning was the Cali. The Cali is a flavor bomb and something I haven’t had before.

If,… when you go to Méta, get the Cali! Also, very good lattes too 😃

Stopped in with my wife and 2yr old and we all enjoyed the breakfast. My chorizo and egg sandwich was so good, I wanted 2 for breakfast this morning but sadly they are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. My daughter made a mess of her self eating her toast with what I believe was almond butter, granola and fruit preserves, my wife really liked her figgy sandwich. Seriously upset they were closed, I will be back sooner than later.

Without a doubt, the best prosciutto and fresh mozzarella sandwich I have ever eaten. Plenty of seating, bathrooms are very clean, and staff were very friendly and helpful. There is outdoor and indoor seating, seating is limited inside that's why there is seating outside. There's limited parking right in front, but there is metered parking around the area (check the signage before parking). This Cafe is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. I just love the Prosciutto sandwich here, that's why I I returned back here. I posted some pictures of the exterior and outside seating for the Cafe.

I like to consider myself an experienced breakfast sandwich eater. The "Jersey Sandwich" was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The egg was cooked perfectly, sausage patty had the perfect amount of coverage, and what the hell is a philly muffin (everything) good lordy. My wife got the Cait and feels the same way.

Great place, great food, and so friendly!! Hubs had the egg sandwich on everything English muffin and I had the almond butter toast, and both were freaking delicious! I had the peanut butter latte made with almond milk and that was superb. The biggest reason we came here was that they opened earlier than everyone for breakfast!

Super friendly and welcoming staff that is starting to pick up on my favorites the more I frequent. You honestly cannot go wrong with any of their menu items or coffees periodt. Clean, minimal, chill aesthetic overall 10/10 would recommend and I always do :)

Prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula, and egg on brioche. Divine. Friendly staff and vibe. Good tunes in nice seating out for a quick sammie.

Extremely tasty grilled cheese sandwiches (Frenchie in particular), as well as some very delicious breakfast sandwiches, like the Cali and maple. Highly recommend the orange honey latte as well!

We ordered The Schreck and it was delicious! True artisans providing an excellent sandwich and experience. Definitely come and enjoy their creations if you are looking for some quality food.

This is a top tier breakfast sammy establishment. Chill staff and the Cait was maybe one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Well done 👍

First time eating here and me and my partner loved it. The staff was friendly as hell and the food was incredible. I got the chorizo egg sandwhich and basically inhaled it.

The Brioche bun is a high status pink and the little bit of maple syrup curbed the spice of the chorizo in the best way possible.

Highly recommend.

This cozy stand located inside the Ferry Market is incredible. Their ingredients are fresh, and you can taste the difference. I had the ‘Rattlesnake’. It’s a new take on a classic grilled cheese, which includes a spicy marmalade in it. It was amazing. The flavor combination was outstanding, and Amanda seriously knows what she’s doing there. My wife and I traveled from Frenchtown exclusively just to try it out! We also ordered a charcuterie board, which in itself was great. Would recommend!
