This bakery has been a literal lifesaver for my family and I. Many of the young members of our family have a number of different food allergies which have limited their ability to enjoy birthdays and celebrations like other kids do. Sweetah’s cakes are so delicious that even the kids in our family without allergies battle for a slice! Also, the cakes are beautifully decorated with intricate designs and even fresh flowers!! There is clearly love in the art that Sweetah’s bake shop creates. They were gracious and patient with our family about the range of allergies we have so that everyone could fully enjoy the celebration and without worry. This is worth so much more to us than words can say. We will be lifelong customers :)!

We stopped here today for my son's birthday. This was my first time. We had such a memorable experience. Just between the vegan selection, prices and amazing taste, I would give 5 stars plus.

Then once the owner knew it is my son's birthday, he brought out his guitar and sang. It'a cozy, cute shop, they have coffee, cup cakes that not just vegan but GF and nut free which was a win all around for us.

Hands down, the BEST gluten free products anywhere around. The treats made on premises, and the frozen pretzels are fantastic. I have no problem with the idea of driving for an hour just to fill up the freezer again and again!

I ordered a carrot cake for a friend’s birthday and it was amazing. We all loved it. The best carrot cake I’ve ever had, gluten free or not, and beautiful too.

Stopped in with my bestfriend since I’ve been looking for good gluten free bakeries. Sweetah’s has always been on my list, but I hadn’t had a chance to stop in due to my schedule. On this trip I picked up some challah bread and a mini cheesecake.

Found out that they have their gluten free breads delivered fresh from a Philly-based Kosher and GF baker, taffets. At the time of my visit, they had challah, quinoa multigrain, sourdough boule, and baguettes available; it was a hard choice to make.

Now the mini cheesecake was so good; delicious crust with smooth cheesecake topped with a raspberry surrounded by blueberries. Let’s just say that it didn’t make it out of the parking lot.

I haven’t tried the challah yet, but I’m excited to cut it down and make some french toast. The owner recommended cutting it down and freezing what I don’t use so that I can get the most use out of it, so that’s what I plan on doing.

I’ll definitely be back for more cheesecake and to try out some of her scones. My bestfriend grabbed her last lemon blueberry scone and she raved about it while eating it in the parking lot too lol. There were also maple pecan scones on display that looked really good, but I wanted more fruity flavors this trip.

Stumbled upon this bakery while in town for a day trip for my daughter birthday. Our family is gluten free due to celiac disease and my youngest is allergic to eggs and dairy. This wo derful bakery was a goldmine! My kiddos were able to get 3 types of cupcakes to bring home and my husband and I tried the coffee cake and a carrot cake cupcake. Everything was delicious and we had no issues with food reactions so this place is definitely taking the right safety measures!

Such a cute, wonderful and friendly place. Great example of a locally owned bakery doing it right. Did I mention it was also delicious.

I couldn't be happier! I am in the depths of wedding planning and needed a solution for dessert for my guests with Celiac's and Chron's. I received the recommendation for Sweetah's ("they are the best gluten free bakery we've ever tried and I'll even pick up for you so that I can grab a few extras!") that we knew was credible. I was able to place an online order but couldn't make a payment. I placed this order right before the Thanksgiving Holiday with an abysmally short turnaround (entirely my own fault) and they were so kind and accommodating. I was able to call in on a day they were closed, make a payment over the phone, and coordinate pick up! It was so easy! She was so incredibly kind and patient with me. And the prices! I am stunned that these amazing, delightful treats are so well priced. It feels just shy of robbery!

I would easily recommend Sweetah's to anyone, gluten free or otherwise. A friendly, local business with incredible products. 15/10. I wish I could give 6 Stars! THANK YOU!!

This charming bakery serves 100% gluten-free treats that are absolutely delicious! Great variety of flavors, and everything is made with the utmost care and finesse. They also have great items on offer for people with other food allergies such as dairy, nuts, etc. This is probably our favorite gluten-free bakery around, and it's great compared to any bakery!

Lots of tasty cupcakes on their menu, the brownies are really good, and the chocolate peanut butter bar is another favorite!

Hands down...The BEST sweets EVER! My wife and I have been ordering from Sweetah's Bakery for years now...She (my wife) is gluten-free (I am not) But- I can't tell the difference! The food is amazing and the customer service is amazing as well! Every time I walk into the store, I feel like royalty! In my opinion, there are NO other GF bakeries around! Keep on keepin' on! :)

Beverly made the most amazing chocolate cake with peanut butter filling and frosting for us for my husband's birthday. He said it was the best cake he has ever had! I totally agree!!! So moist and delicious. You can not go wrong at Sweetah's. We have tried most of their goodies and they are all so yummy! It doesn't matter if you are gluten free or not, go here!!!

Hands down best gluten-free bakery I’ve tried so far, and the chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting are probably the best I’ve had—period. Gluten free or not.

Neither my partner nor I have a gluten allergy, nor are either of us vegan. We weren’t seeking out a gluten-free bakery when we first stumbled on Sweetah’s for the first time a couple of years ago. We just lived nearby and, on a whim during one of our strolls around the borough, decided to pick up a few cupcakes to take home and try out. The rest is history. Suffice to say, we ended up getting our anniversary cake from there that year (SO good!).

I also want to add, I found the owner’s/owners’ manner of adhering to CDC guidelines refreshing. Throughout the pandemic, they (have?—not sure how it is now, since we haven’t been there recently) had a table set up that both placed ample distance between vendor and customer and effectively extended the working behind-the-counter space into the main floor area where customers could formerly walk up to the display cases pre-pandemic. You could still see everything you needed to see in the cases, and peruse small individually wrapped treats and breads on display on the table/checkout counter closest you.
Whoever is working would use gloves and masks and had ample sanitizer available for customers as well as themselves. It felt safe in the store, exceptionally clean, & respectfully spaced out—which of course is exactly what I hope for when my food, & public health on the whole, is involved.

Update: Stopped in again recently, right before the store was closing for the day (we came in at 2:58, when they closed at 3), with my sis-in-law who has Celiacs who’s visiting us & the area. Sis-in-law was naturally super excited about the whole shop being gluten free. I have to say, I felt moved by the fact the women working behind the display cases were so friendly and warmly conversational, especially so close to closing. They even gave her a free bonus apple cider donut in addition to the cupcakes and donut we purchased. She mentioned gently that they’re closing anyway and that she just knew my sis-in-law love it. (Spoiler alert: She absolutely *did* love those donuts!—and the cupcakes).

I just really appreciate small gestures and friendly customer service like that. I wouldn’t have been put off, or surprised, if folks there were very straightforward with our transaction given we came in at the very end of their long day and on a probably crazy day, what with the Arts Fest in town. It’s so refreshing and really makes all the difference when people go above and beyond despite all those things.

My experience with Sweetah's was absolutely wonderful. I was out of town and needed a birthday cake for someone in the area. I called and asked if Sweetah's could make a special cake with a written message on top, and if they might be willing to drive it to the house as a surprise birthday gift. The owner helped me pick out a flavor and look, and also card from a local artist (by taking the time to describe them to me over the phone). Sweetah's really went the extra mile to accommodate my needs, and the birthday cake delivery was, indeed, a wonderful surprise. Though I wasn't around to try the cake, the reviews from those who did were fabulous. Highly recommended!

Third time was the charm! I kept missing this stop being open during the week. I had heard a lot of good things about their food and for the things I tried I agree! The store smells amazing when you walk in, the person helping is was very friendly, the pastries reasonably priced and they were so good! Not sure exactly what the hours are during the week but call ahead just in case. Their food is well worth it, make a point to try this bake shop!!
