I have been working with Mid Atlantic they are extremely knowledgeable and always review all the closing papers and legal aspects of each transaction.

I cannot recommend this company at this time because of my experience with them. I sold my house this week and this company was used to process funds.

I did not receive a closing sheet until a few hours before closing and did not have time to amend an error with the final sewer payment. I asked for the funds received to be wired, but the transaction didn't occur until more than 24 hours after the property closed (after 3PM nonetheless before a holiday weekend).

Specifically, I called and Colleen stated the wire was completed before 3 PM. She stated the bank was waiting to accept the payment. I thanked her and then received a call from Lisa, asking me to confirm my account number. I asked her why this was necessary since Colleen confirmed the wire was completed. She stated she is processing the payment now. I asked her why she waited until after 3PM when my closing was the previous day. She stated she was busy with other closings. Instead of just simply apologizing, she stated they provide checks and that wires are essentially a courtesy. I corrected her and stated I pay a wire transaction fee and that I'm just upset considering the title company had been paid but I'm still waiting for my funds.

Look, I get it, we all make mistakes. Just own them. I don't get why Colleen made her statement instead of just telling me she doesn't have an answer at that point.
