Kolbe Cafe & Gift Store

Life saver. Stopped here along our kayak trip accidentally because the food truck down by the tubing area was closed. We were counting on it for food but the staff didn’t show up on time. We took a little 2 minute walk over the one lane wooden bridge to this awesome little gem along the canal. All the breakfast foods, coffee, cold drinks and snacks you need for energy on the River. Tons of seating outside so don’t worry when you only see the two tables in where you order.

My friend and I found this wonderful cafe when we were driving around Bucks County, and I'm so glad we did! Our food was amazing and we had fun exploring the gift shop. Highly recommend!

My husband and I used to live next door to Kolbe. We stopped by after showing our kids the repercussions of mischief nite at the intersection by My Place (which are not nearly as bad as I remember from 12+ years ago!).
We told the kids this was our go-to spot to buy gifts and they recognized some of the items for sale from seeing those same cool sculptures/fountains/decor at grandma's house. You can literally get lost in this shop, and trust me, you will want to! The cafe is a new addition for me, and we bought some cookies and some snickerdoodle cupcakes. It was closing time on a Sunday, and I wasn't planning to critique the food, but my God, those cookies were incredible! And the cupcakes? I would go there for the baked goods alone! What an awesome addition to one of my all time favorite shops ❤

If you're looking for something unique, this is the place to go. I shop here every Christmas for my sisters and they always love their gifts. I brought my sister this time because she 's heard me talk about it. She bought some nice stuff.

Wonderful, magical place I stumbled upon after leaving Ralph Stover State Park. It's only a few minutes drive from there, and def worth a visit!
The candles I got there were amazing, almost seem to glow from within when you light them. I had a cup of chili at the cafe, delicious. The outside is full of fascinating, garden statuary..loved it all!

I stumbled upon this cafe after a long road trip and it was so refreshing. They have a lovely location. I was able to order delicious food and coffee (from local vendors) and enjoy the scenery before getting on the road. The staff and owner are so friendly and welcoming. Sadly, Kolbe Cafe is going out of business. The cafe portion closed on September 1. The merchandise portion is still open but is clearing their inventory through discounts. It was one of my favorite quaint cafes and eclectic stores. Sorry to see it go. It will be missed.

I love the Kolbe Cafe! It has been such a great addition to the neighborhood. Delicious, simple food, great coffee, and most of all a super-friendly atmosphere. Then wander into the many, many rooms of the rest of the store. Every time I go I find more things I didn’t even know they carried. And the player piano is always a treat for only a quarter!

First time here & I will definitely be back! Cozy, laid-back atmosphere and very helpful & friendly staff. They have a great concept for ordering smoothies -- a smoothie checklist where you choose which fruit, liquids (almond milk, OJ, etc.) and additions (non-fat yogurt, etc.) you want then they blend it all into a delicious drink :)

Incredible coffee made by the incredible people. Everyone is so warm, friendly, and welcoming. The pastries, panini, and breakfast burritos are scrumptious. Getting lost in the shopping labyrinth is fun and it is a great place to find unique gifts. I heart Kolbe Cafe!

its a real damn shame this place is closing - visited for the first time today and had a great time! i need to bring as many people here as i can before then. thanks to emily for helping us a bunch!

Great food, takes time for them to prepare but worth the wait!

My wife and I stopped by today for coffee and ice cream which by the way was very good but the best was still to come. Several hours later after walking the canal for miles my wife realized she lost her wallet. It was retrace our steps on the canal and make a call to Kolbe Cafe with hopes it was their. The call was made to the cafe and the wallet was still their. Thank you all very much :-)

Kolbe cafe is everytihg you want from a mom and pop shop. From anything as far as sculptures for your garden to magig color changing fire powder, they have something for everyone. The owners are super friendly, and welcome you with open arms. Dont forget to snuggle with the shop dog duncan for a bit!

Went for a walk along the canal path and stopped in for a great coffee and apple crumb cake.

Love this place, Best Chili around, great sandwiches, great atmosphere, very warm and attentive staff that go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Perfect little coffee shop for meeting an old friend!
