Peter and team did a great job during the design and construction of our pool pavilion. They communicated well and often, showed up on time, and clearly cared deeply about the quality of their work, as well as the materials used. In addition to doing a great job on the structure, Peter maintained close communication with the landscape company to ensure proper coordination. We also added a deck skirting project during the process, and they were able to get the materials and complete that right after the pavilion was done; it looks better than expected. We would definitely recommend them and would use them again for other needs.

Peter and crew Rescreened our porch and installed a new door. They used a new technique that I had never heard of and did a great job.

Peter and his crew where very thorough, and extremely well organized when it came to replacing our two front doors. It was refreshing to work with them, as they did what they said they were going to do an beyond. They came on time, and communicated as things changed, which of course happens, and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was complete. We hired Peter and his team to convert a 15’x15’ sitting room into our dream mudroom. Our house is an older 1930’s farmhouse so we knew it could be a challenge working with older bones. Peter was communicative, honest, thorough, and most importantly (and seemingly harder and harder to come by these days) - extremely reliable. To say the end result exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. We were confident the job was done right and was built to last. We receive so many compliments on the work that was done in that room - really can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. We did a full home renovation with Woodsmith including two bathrooms, knocked down several walls to open the layout of the house, refinished the kitchen, and finished a previously unfinished basement. Pete (owner) and his team were terrific and quality was excellent and expectations were met daily as well as overall on the project. Pete is easy to work with, realistic with pricing, and very transparent / honest along the way. We left him and his team in our house for weeks on end without any worry or incident. He also handled all related to permits and passed all inspections easily. I have high confidence in the work and will use Woodsmith again in the future and recommend Pete to anyone else considering using Woodsmith for any size job.

We interviewed several contractors for our project (entirely rebuilding our deck, adding spiral stairs, and a bluestone patio underneath). Peter made us feel very comfortable from the beginning. He listened to our ideas, asked questions, and gave us options. He was the only contractor who understood our vision and was willing to work with us to achieve it. (Other contractors tried to steer us in a direction that they were comfortable with.) His price was in line with our expectations, and his craftsmanship and attention to detail was outstanding. The result exceeded our expectations. Throughout the project he was constantly in communication with us and always available. We would recommend him and his company without reservation.

Woodsmith Construction built a beautiful backyard cabin for us. The CEO Peter Buechle and his entire crew were all a delight to work with throughout the project. The project required carpenters, electricians, roofers all capable and efficient. Peter was generous with his time and worked with us to build the optimal structure for us. All done in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. We highly recommend Woodsmith Construction.

Pete and his crew installed a covered porch on the rear of our house with Ipe wood decking. He also installed 4 new windows with exterior trim to provide a craftsman look to the exterior. Pete was very professional and extremely easy to work with. Every phone call/text was returned the same day. Every question and concern answered.
