Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel

The people at Baker-Harris were tremendously helpful to our family after the recent passing of my brother-in-law. He passed away two days before Thanksgiving, and yet they met with us the day after he passed and made our difficult situation better. Our entire family especially thought so much of Vicki who was beyond helpful. She met with my wife and her cousin to help plan the funeral. She answered all of their questions, and was extremely compassionate with everyone. The entire staff checked on my mother-in-law during the entire visitation and funeral, and made her feel much more at ease.

Approximately 12 years ago, my father-in-law had his funeral here, and the staff was incredible then as well. I would definitely recommend them to any family during a difficult time.

Mr. Harris is one exceptional person. He took the time out of his personal life on a Sunday afternoon to meet with my family in our time of need. He stayed in contact with us to make sure my mother had everything to look her best. She looked beautiful! Very happy with how everything turned out.

Even though it was a time of grief, the support provided by Bill, Dan, Vicki and others of the Baker Harris team, allowed us to also celebrate a life well lived and permit us to say goodbye to our mother knowing she was in your capable hands.
You all are constantly dealing with people at a very challenging time but you made me and my family feel like we were part of your family. Thank you for handling things with care and compassion.

I just want to say thank you so very much for the great job u did with my father-in-law George Kassick. It was a very hard time but you guys were there for each and everyone of us. You guys helped us so much and gave us the time we needed with our loved one I will be sure to pass it on how great u guys did. And another thing , you also did my brother in law funeral Shawn Kassick,and u did a great job on him as well and when u see your loved ones for the last time and they look as if they was just sleeping it's hard but makes you feel good that someone cares for ur family as much as you do

Terrible. My family suffered a terrible tragedy and it was made very clear to me that all these people at Baker-Harris wanted was money. Had I not been there when my sister passed my family would not have even been told that a viewing was an option. As a matter of a fact, when I asked about it, the owner specifically said, "that's not an option" because he needed the money up front. (which is reasonable because it is a business) but here is where I found that they truly were money hungry: the moment he told me that it wasn't an option, I said, "well I have cash," he IMMEDIATELY went out to his vehicle and got me a pamphlet of price listings. However, he told my family that we had A HALF HOUR to decide what we wanted to do with my sister who had passed away tragically not long before the conversation took place. Thank goodness I was recommended Moskal & Kennedy Funeral home by another family member. They swooped in and made an incredibly difficult situation a little easier and saved us thousands of dollars (literally) for the same services. Normally I wouldn't advertise another business like this but I genuinely felt attacked by the owners of Baker-Harris and I know that had I not been in from out of town, they would have taken advantage of my family and my sister would not have gotten the beautiful funeral that she deserved because the option would not have been given by Baker-Harris at all.
