In my interactions with TireChains, it's evident that they genuinely prioritize their customers and strive for an exceptional overall experience. I've been thoroughly impressed by what I've observed from this company.

wanted to take a moment to thank you for your service.
You called me the day I submitted my order to let me know the tire chain tool wasn't available, but you could credit me the difference in order to not delay shipping the chains. You also made sure the spare parts were correct for the chains ordered. The chains arrived quickly, are the right size, and work very well...Those are some BEEFY chains! They should last me for years...not like the ones I had to buy from the local tire-dealer that already broke a cross chain connector.
Please let me know when the medium-size tire chain repair tools are back in stock as I would like to order one as well.

I purchased chains and tensioners for my lawn tractor with 23x10.50-12 tires. Good fit and nice looking product. Just waiting for snow now!

I ordered on Wednesday and received my chains on Friday.
Thank you!
I needed a set of chains for my riding mower because of the steep hills I have on my property.
I ordered the 2 - Link Spacing with V-Bar. No more wheels spinning.
Again, Thank You for your fast service, and great chains for a fair price.

Tried to return a tire chain tensioner. They only accept returns for 15 days. So when buy ahead you are screwed to try and return something you have yet to use. Plus shipping took 7 days so do not buy from these people.
I love these google reviews

TERRIBLE SHIPPING! They ship through USPS. As we all know the Postal Service is notorious for LATE shipments. My delivery date kept getting DELAYED DELAYED DELAYED. Find another vendor to buy chains that uses UPS or Fedex.

This company by far is the worst to deal with. After contacting customer service on an issue with the wrong chains, they are refusing to pay the shipping back and want to charge a restocking fee on a set of chains that did not match my application. Then after three weeks of trying to get through I was able to get the correct chains. What they sent me looked like a used set of chains with no shipping bag and box torn open with the items spilling out. The sales person even said that the chains would come with a bag. I tried reaching back out to them about this issue and have been unable to get a response. I have attempted to contact them multiple times via e-mail and even called. After sitting on hold for over an hour (multiple days in a row) and still was unable to get through. Seems like this company only wants the sale and doesn't care able the customer. I am still dealing with this issue with the return and missing item for over a month now.

Just got off the phone with this company and I must say, buyer beware!! I ordered chains for my tractor only to find out one of the chains did not fit due to one tire size slightly larger. All is needed is an additional chain in order to make it fit. I called which I was emailed with the information needed to order. I am very willing to pay for the additional items however some items is minimum quantity. Due to website quantity requirement, I cannot order exactly what is needed to extend this chain slightly. According to this company, the amended order must be done through the website which in my case, I need 1 and must order 10. When calling the company back, I met with unwillingness to work with me. As I was told, this is above my pay grade and not our fault. They feel the sent what I ordered, therefore they did their job. So think about this if you run into the same issue, need the company to work with you, this is not the company to deal with.

I ordered a set of chains for my JD tractor, got them installed started pushing snow. The minute one of the tires spun out the chain broke. So I went to return them because they obviously aren't high enough quality. This is the email I got back from them:

Hi,

Thank You for sending the pictures, this is not a problem with the quality of the chain.

If you spin tire this will happen, it causes the chain to bind and stretch pulling apart.

We can send you a length of sidechain and hooks to fix it this time, however, if you spin with chains on this can happen.

If you require additional assistance please feel free to contact our customer service.

Best Regards,
Customer Service

Awful experience with this local Pennsylvania company. When it was time to buy tire chains I decided to purchase local and away from big box stores. Mistake! This local company never answers the phone, returns emails. They sent me the wrong chains after I verified what chains I needed and refused to return them. I will never go back.

The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Placed an order over the phone, never received email verification or any receipt. Called customer service and they said they could just cancel the Order after talking to the snotty customer service gal and her being annoyed that i wanted a receipt for our business. Over a week later the chains show up at our house and they won’t return them for a full refund, even though the order was cancelled and she assured me the charge would fall off my card. Never again!!!!!

“I bought some chains that their online search system said would fit my tires. When I got them, it was not even close. No chance they would fit my tires, so I emailed them about what to do and offered to exchange them for an appropriately sized set and pay the difference in price, but I would not pay for return shipping or the shipping of the replacement set because their system said they would fit.

They responded that their website stated in multiple places that their chain sizing is not suited for knobby off-road tires (like mine) even though they have photos of their chains on BF Goodrich KO-2 off-road tires. One reference was to their FAQs page...why would I ever go there unless I have a question, which I did not? The other reference reads as follows:

"Not recommended for off-road, mud, plowing, diesel, or heavy duty trucks."

They told me that this sentence states that the tires are not meant for mud tires, which is the category they are classifying my tires after sending them photos. OK, but that's not what this sentence says according to basic grammar. The first three conditions (off-road, mud, plowing) are best read as activities that you should not do when using these chains (i.e. don't use them when off-road, in mud or plowing). The last two conditions (diesel or heavy duty trucks) clearly describe the type of truck they should not be used with. As I would not be using the chains off-road, in mud or for plowing, and my truck is an F-150, I saw no conflict or reason to check the FAQs. If you want to be a total grammar Nazi then the sentence really reads that the chains should not be used for off-road trucks, mud trucks, plowing trucks, diesel trucks, or heavy duty trucks. Again, none of these apply to me. Regardless, the wording is exceptionally poor, unclear and does not accurately represent the information that the seller intended to convey. I tired to explain this to them and offered better language so that future customers would not make the same mistake I made, but they didn't care.

In addition to all this, the tag on the chain bag had a list of tires sizes that this set was intended to fit. Guess what...my tire size was not on this list. So, regardless of the terribly written language above, the chains were not intended for my tire size in the first place! They sent me chains that would have never fit!

I explained all this to them and that I would accept nothing less than a full refund (they have a 25% restocking fee) and I would not pay for return shipping. Their counter offer was to make me a set of custom chains and charge me the difference. They said that custom chains are usually about $90 - $125, and that seemed reasonable to me. When I gave them the dimensions of my tires, they quoted $169.95 - $249.95, depending on the type of chain. By now, I was getting mad. CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM.

So I wrote them the following email, exactly as follows:

"That's a lot more than $90-$125.

Looks like we have 2 options:
1) Refund and a shipping label to return the product.
2) I contact PayPal and AMEX to credit my account. And I keep the chains.

Your call."

They sent me a return label , which is a legal acceptance of my terms, so I sent the chains back. Today I got a credit notice from Paypal for $63.25 on the $107.40 purchase. So not only did they not give me a full refund, they also deducted the original AND return shipping charge.

These people are totally dishonest scum. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I spoke with an agent requesting Thule brand chains. I got a set of chains but didn't open for months (return period had unknowingly passed). Chains were diamond-type but not Thule brand. I should have been advised when placing order by phone and been given credit when wrong item shipped. Beware of short return window and unsympathetic return and restock fee policies!
