Friendly, helpful, and had a great selection of bike rentals. My wife and I wanted to rent some bikes to ride the Tow Trail. Kyle at Pure Energy helped make the process easy and shared tips on how to get the most of the trail.

I chose a standard hardtail bike with front shock when riding by myself and upgraded to an ebike with my wife to ride from Lambertville to Frenchtown. I highly recommend it for anyone that has a day to spend exploring on bike.

When you rent, be sure to take Pure Energy up on "fitting the bike" for you. He helped adjust my wife's seat to ensure she had an optimal experience. When you are biking 30 miles, having the seat height set for your needs is more helpful than many realize.

The shop had a unique layout and I enjoyed looking through their inventory of bikes for sale. We'll rent again from Pure Energy upon our next visit.

Back in 2012 I bought an awesome SE Lager from Pure Energy. Guys gave me an excellent price and service. Fast forward to 2023. Went out for a ride on the canal path and my rear tire went flat. Got some tools out but my tire actually went bad on the inside. I pushed my bike back and headed to Pure Energy. I told them I wanted 2 new tires and tubes. They had it completely ready to go in 30 min. Excellent service! These guys are fantastic.

My last bike purchase was over 20 year ago and I felt very overwhelmed and confused with all the options when ready to purchase a new road bike. From the moment I contacted Kyle and Arounkone at Pure Energy Cycling they were incredible patient and kind providing many hours both at the store and through email discussing my needs, goals and fitting me for a bike that I love and will hopefully last me another 20 years! I appreciated their honesty and patience with me in recommending a bike that is both well made, has the latest technology and is also gorgeous. They even helped with accessories for safety and comfort on the road. Having this bike shop local to my home is a gift. I highly recommended them if you are looking for a bike, need a bike rental for the tow path or a tune up.

My wife and I took a trip to lambertsville and we brought our bikes to ride the rail trail. Unfortunately, as we arrived in to lambertsville, both of the bikes fell off our car. We brought our bikes to pure energy, cycling and Java. They were extremely knowledgeable and got us on the road very quickly. I can't thank them enough and I would recommend them to anyone that has any concerns or needs to tune up with their bike. Thanks again for being such professionals.

This place is exactly what you would hope to find when looking for a bike shop. The owners are very down to earth and approachable. They are knowledgeable and it is quickly apparent they are skilled at what they do. From building bikes to brewing coffee!

The retail parts/accessories shop seems thoughtfully stocked with quality products and the bike selection is more than solid.

If your looking for a decent bike retailer/builder/repair shop that’s ran by people with an obvious passion for the cycling community; this is it!

I stopped in here for a mid-ride repair an hour before they closed. on a busy Saturday. I thought the chances of getting back on the road were slim to none. Back on the road in no time and the price was completely fair. Great people and I will return

We had the most awesome experience with Pure Energy Cycling from start to finish. First reserving bikes was super easy/convenient. Helpful staff fitted us for bikes and gave excellent advice on routes.
One of our riders had a minor mishap during the ride and staff was eager to assist.
Highly recommend using Pure Energy and will definitely return next time for renting or purchasing bikes.

Purchased a new gravel bicycle here and experienced top notch, personalized service. The shop owner did a fantastic job answering all of my questions, providing good options to choose from, and not placing any pressure on me to rush into a decision. The bicycle was ready at the discussed date and time and the owner spent time with me to personalize the fit of the bicycle. At no time did I feel rushed; quite the opposite! After several 3-4+ hour rides, the fit is spot on without any issues. The mechanic did a superb job making changes that I requested and everything works perfectly. I am super happy with my purchase. Please support local top notch bike shops like this one.

Riding the Delaware and Raritan Bike Trail when my rear caliper started sticking. Received fast, friendly, and efficient repair! Amazed and grateful! Ride back to Bull Island should be a breeze!

I found Pure Energy Cycling while searching for a reputable shop that can handle a maintenance of decent mountain bike.

I have a Scott Genius that needed spokes work, suspension work, and much more after few thousands of miles on off-road.

In Philadelphia I have not met a shop that can do all that (in fact I spent 2 weeks in Philly bike shops with zero result).

Pure Energy Cycling were amazing. They provided maximum information on the phone, they were extremely efficient with time and information, and next thing I was at their shop with Scott.

It took a week to repair the whole bike (suspension rebuild, tires, spokes rebuild, gears and chain tune up, new bar handles, torquing all screws, total washing, gears fine tuning, bearings check, brakes check and clean, and more). It was impressive to see how those guys not only know what they are doing, but also they truly love it.

I got the bike like new. A $300 service (parts, labor, and some snacks :) ), worth any cent!

If you have a decent bike (road or off-road) and you love to have your toys taking care of on its best side: Pure Energy Cycling is pretty much the best closest shop to Philadelphia. It is 53 minute ride from Center philadelphia, and worth any minute.

Thank you Pure Energy Cycling! see you for next service!

Excellent service. These guys know cycling and are always ALWAYS thoughtful, informative, patient, helpful, and friendly. I take my bike annually for over all tune up and come in for merch and support during the season. Highly recommend for purchasing a new bike, getting fitted, and maintenance.

I do all my cycle shopping and maintenance here. I drive 20 miles and past four other bike shops to get to Pure Energy because they are more interested in provided me with superior service and solid products then they are about making a quick buck with pressure tactics or guilt trips. Highly knowledgeable, professional staff, who have top skills. Super nice folks, too.

Came to New Hope today from home about 45 min away to ride our favorite trail ( the canal towpath ) parked the car , realized hubs bike had a flat , walked the bike to your awesome bike shop and boom , you fixed it immediately and were so nice ! I just got fitted to my new (used) Felt B12 at Pure Energy. Based on the skilled, thorough job the owner did on the fitting, you would have thought I was an elite Ironman competitor in contention at Kona, rather than a back-of-the-pack age-grouper doing local olympic and half length tri's. My bike felt radically better afterward, and I can't wait to get it out on the road! Last, but not least, the price of the fitting was almost as low as the quality was high. I can't recommend this shop highly enough...I know where I'll be taking my bikes for maintenance and upgrades from now on!

I returned and had a completely different experience. The employee manning the shop may have been the owner - he did everything right and was pleasant to chat with. Within 48 hours my bike was ready.

I stopped in just to look, as I’m in the market for a bike, and Arounkone went out of his way to make my family feel welcome. Super knowledgeable and helpful, and Arounkone gave some great bike (and food) recommendations. Good people.

Had a problem with my front disc brake rubbing, and also how to get to the local trail. The knowledgeable mechanic took time to explain to me how to easily fix this common problem, and what likely caused it. (I did not buy the bike from them), and pointed out where to park for the local trail. He also gave me some pointers on the peculiarities of the route I was proposing, which saved me some confusion half way through my trip. I was very happy I stopped in.
