Incredible food!! The bartender was the host, waiter, and promoter. What a guy!!
We met the chef, so personable!
I personally like windows so a bit disappointed in the closed in feeling of the dining area. Will definitely revisit and recommend .

Best bar in town. cheap drinks, calm vibes, bar games. Kid friendly. Amazing staff. I would rate higher if I could.

The brick house did an amazing job with our event. The atmosphere is great even with lots of people. Their great staff and management worked hard behind the scenes like a family would to help set up our event and did an outstanding job throughout. I heard nothing but compliments about the menu and service from our guest audience.

All around outstanding food, friendly service. Juicy drinks and smoking within the building and pool tables as well. Dine inside or outside.

Butler Pennsylvania is a small gem in the Great Lakes rust belt area, a bit off the beaten path from the lakes, but discovering it yielded a wearily aged town that once was the birthplace and home of the original US ARMY Jeep, but has started to make a comeback as a haven for the arts and the next generation.

The Brick House is no exception, rather it exemplifies the soul of this town. The outside of it was a mystery, as the winding entrails of the business seemingly takes up three connected
Buildings in order to entertain large parties be it a wedding or family reunion. The West Family reunion was in progress when we showed up, but we never even heard them until we walked around the block.

That’s the confusing thing: it’s like someone hiding multiple personalities they are ashamed of, but secretly prideful of too. There is no trace of the other parts of the Brick House until it actually affects you—like when you order food and it takes a long time because the reunion catering is unveiled at the same time.

At first the outside was perfect. Mild balmy weather, Simone’s song drifting from around the corner, and then you enter. It smells like smoked cigars and ash. Not entirely bad. It took a while to be seated because it was EMPTY. The bar room looked cool though. We ended up sitting in the game room, a room full of pool tables and half broken down games. Despite the reminder of Butler’s plight being echoed in the game room, we were comfortable. The server who was taking care of us was also helping with the reunion. He was awesome and cool. Love the guy. We ordered the crab cakes, jambalaya, hot dog, kids quesadilla, and grilled chicken. The kids items were surprisingly good! Our picky kids ate them up to our surprise. The crab cakes were fresh and used only claw meat and were HUGE! Super tasty too. The Jambalaya was out of this world! This far north and a Jambalaya like this exists! What a find! The andouille sausage was authentic and the shrimp was plump and cooked perfectly. The rice was perfection as well. The chicken was juicy and plump too! Overall the Jambalaya was a masterpiece. The executive chef came out to see us, and he is one cool dude who is proud of his food—and it shows.

The soul of Butler is a new resurgence of art and elevating life in the rust belt tucked away in the hills of Pennsylvania, and the Brick House is an oasis of culinary delight that echoes it’s home perfectly.

The next day, I am still mentally savoring that Jambalaya and the crab cakes. It was worth the wait and confusion due to the layout. Give this place a try, you will be confused, amused, and later delighted.

One of my favorite local spots! I recently visited on Taco Tuesday and was impressed with the portion size and quality of ingredients. The chicken parmesan sandwich is also one of my favorites! Most people don't realize the menu is so expensive with options for every palate and appetite. The menu items are also very reasonably priced. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed 😊

My husband and I had our rehearsal luncheon here for our wedding and the staff was absolutely incredible. We had guests who have gluten intolerances, and they made sure that they were taken care of and they checked on them several times. Everyone was so thoughtful, helpful, and kind. Larry the owner personally came around to check on our guests and make sure everything was going well. The food was delicious and they accommodated all of the dietary needs of our party, including clearly labeled vegan options. Their attention to detail was much appreciated. We are so thankful that we chose Brick House for our rehearsal lunch.

Great food at a very reasonable price, bartender very attentive, good service. Downtown so parking can be a challenge, trivia was also being played while there. Guess they are regulars, take a lot of space, so unless you like to eat at the bar do not go on Wednesday.

My husband and I hosted a rehearsal dinner on September 9th, 2021. We are from out of town, so did all our communication by phone, email and texts. They exceeded my expectations. We chose a buffet menu that included chicken and barbeque pork. The food was delicious! We were able to enjoy the dinner in a private room, the our guests went to the game room for darts, pool and air hockey. Matt was very responsive to our needs, and the staff at the dinner and bar were excellent

The place we had our rehearsal dinner scheduled at cancelled on us 24 hours in advance and the Brick House SAVED the day. They were incredible to work with on such a short notice. The service was great. The food was great! We were extremely pleased with our experience here!! Highly recommend!

Another covid bride here with multiple date and venue changes - the two things that remained a constant were the plan to have an after party at the Brick House and the absolute amazing help Matt was during the whole entire thing that spanned nearly a year and a half. With all the changes (which were so many down to dates, service requested, numbers coming, just so many), the questions, the requests to see rooms, the uncertainties and just all of it, not once did Matt get annoyed, angry or be anything other but helpful, understanding and accommodating. We finally got to have our after party this passed weekend and everyone loved it! They were so happy with the food, the banquet room, the service, the bartenders and it was just a perfect end to the night. We got to keep the party going in a cool, clean room with the snacks we ordered laid out nicely and easily got our drinks. Everyone so nice and fun and accommodating. I would recommend am event here in a heartbeat. Thanks again!

We recently had our wedding reception here. Matt and all of the staff were beyond incredible. The decorations were set up beautifully, the food was amazing, and the cookies, cakes, deserts were plated wonderfully. Matt was easy to get ahold of while planning it, and day of made sure everything was taken care of. I can’t tell you how many compliments we got about how great the place looked, how awesome the food was, and how much fun everyone had in the game room! The pool tables, air hockey, pinball machines, and dart boards were filled with guests the entire night!! If you are having an event, any event, you need to have it at the Brickhouse. It will not disappoint!!

I had my sisters bridal shower here on Saturday, August 24, 2019. Let me first start off by saying that I was pleasantly surprised with how helpful the staff was!!! Prior to setting up, Matt hepled me unload my car. As I was setting up they offered us something to drink, which was very kind of them. The food was SO excellent. I found the venue space very clean and tidy and I really couldn't have been happier with the overall experience. I would absolutely recommend this place for an event to anyone!!!!

We were really hungry and thought this place looked inviting with their patio seating. We stopped in and the bartender offered us seating options and let us know our server would be with us shortly with menus.

Our hunger got the best of us so my boyfriend went back in to see if someone was still coming out. The bartender handed us menus at this point, apologized, and offered us two free drinks.

Very shortly after this our waitress waited graciously on us, and was even sweet enough to give our toddler a few extra strawberries when he noticed an appetizing strawberry on my Frozen Margarita that was on special. The food was excellent, will come back again to check out their game room! Thank you Brickhouse staff!

Best place downtown with some kind of nightlife. Happy hour 4-6 is a great time to get some bar food munchies and drinks. The restaurant aspect has sublime entrees. High class! Prices aren't cheap but not unreasonable. There is a game room with pool tables and dartboards, and a nice outside area with tables right on Main St. Recommended!

My husband and I had our first date, and many date nights since, at the Brick House, and have always loved it. We decided to use them as our wedding reception venue, and we couldn't be happier that we did. Matt and his team made our day go so smoothly. They handled all setup and cleanup and food preparation, and had a offer a huge selection of alcohol, and many different cost efficient bar package options. All of our guests raved about how good the appetizers and meal were. Their rates are much lower than any of the other local reception venues that offer packages. Not to mention the super cool, eclectic atmosphere that the place has, that just added to the decor style that I was looking for!!

I can't thank the Brick House team enough for making our day amazing, beautiful, memorable and delicious!
