Hardwood Cafe

We stopped here for lunch today on our way through town. We were seated promptly by friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were clean. I had a meatball sandwich with fries. My husband had the hot sausage sandwich with coleslaw. Both of our orders came out hot and plentiful. We were both very happy with the taste of our sandwiches. We would eat here again if ever in the area.

A great family friendly place to have lunch or dinner. The staff is super friendly, the menu is familiar with their unique take on bar food. Great place for after a round of golf or for a family
Dinner with little ones. The private rooms caught my wife’s eye as a great small event space. Make sure to try the pizza and fish taco’s!

Love this place second time here and no disappointment food was delicious service was good will definitely b back again.

Stopped in for lunch on Friday (8/09/2023) while visiting family (Octoberfest in Saxonburg, Thanks Sprankles) from North Carolina.
Service was top notch from all of the servers as they picked up each step as if knowing what the last server was focusing on. Drink was one third left and I was getting checked on..Never have seen this type of service back down South...There , I said it.

The burger I ordered had the hardwood taste/smell built in and was more than enough to make me want to consider coming back several times a year despite how bad Hwy 79 is.

Would freaking love to see a Penguins or Steelers game in this type of atmosphere.

Not much on Rt 8 , thank God for Hardwood. Fantastic food and variety. Good prices and may favorite, spacious.

Awesome place to grab a bite! They really nailed the Ruben and fries. My co worker that with me had a burger that was pretty dang good looking and he said it was amazing.

We recently had a surprise birthday party here. Everything was seamless from planning the event with Whitney to the great staff who hosted the day of. All my requests were met and the staff made sure everyone was happy.
I would definitely use this facility again for an party. My guests are still saying what a lovely party we had.

Perfect for a celebration of life party for my wife and watching the Steelers win against the Ravens...dirty birds.

Erika was the greatest waiter i’ve ever had. Food was great my burger was truly cooked the way i wanted and everything was fresh.

Been going to the Hardwood for years, well before any of the expansions. Staff have always been great and the food has been pretty good. Things took a bit of a hit for covid, as did everything, but I've honestly never had a bad meal here.

My family and I had my father’s wake here and it was wonderful. Great food, awesome and friendly service. Highly recommend!! Thank you, Hardwood Cafe!

Excellent food, service and desserts. In fact we'll be going back with friends just so we can take better advantage of their desserts offerings!

Im not sure why the front door was closed so we had to walk in/eat in the bar with my 3 year old and he couldn’t reach the table bc it was too high from the chair but everything we ordered was excellent. I definitely will be going back soon and hopefully we can eat in the dining room.

Great drink specials. Saturdays, they have 4.00 any crown royal flavor. Very nice environment and extremely clean. Cajun shrimp was great, and so were the fish tacos.

Went here for lunch, the restaurant was being remodel but that didn't bug to much. The food was awesome had a Reuben, with the maple sriracha chicken wings, and it was awesome.

Great service and the food is really good. Good atmosphere as well.

Kudos to Hardwood Cafe and their staff. We ate dinner there with a great group of special kids for their prom. The kids had their own table in another room. The waitresses did a great job! Attentive, respectful, and made the kid's prom a great experience. Thank you to the Hardwood Cafe staff from the kid's parents.

Excellent food. Nice atmosphere. Holly was a wonderful server. Will definitely be back!
