Won bid on Gunbroker for Mossberg 590. Picked up at store location. Very nice staff. Simple process. Saved lot of money. Would definitely do business with them again.

Apparently they are now under different management, because the service I received was fantastic, despite the older poor reviews. Staff was personable and got me what I needed.

I went in to pick up a gun I won at a local gun bash and decided to trade for something else. Not only were the guys in the store great to deal with, they had an awesome selection to choose from and hooked me up with ammo as well! I definitely got a fair deal. Everyone was super friendly and I definitely won’t hesitate to stop back in for any future purchases!

Well, I guess I am going to be contrary to the more recent reviews here. I bid on an auction for ammo on GB (450BM) and won the auction with a final delivered price of about ~30% less than the going rate for that specific ammo. I won the auction on Wednesday at 6PM eastern time, and had the very well packaged case of ammo at my doorstop on Saturday at 2PM. I do live in Maine, so the shipping speed was aided by proximity, but they obviously shipped my ammo out the first thing on Thursday.
In my limited experience with Sportsman's Supply on GB, I will not hesitate (and will search them out to see if they offer what I am looking for) to bid on their items given my first experience with them. I would not hesitate to buy from them on GB.

I’ve purchased several firearms through them on Gunbroker. Easy transactions. I always pick up in the store and every time the staff is pleasant to deal with. Every gun I’ve purchased was less then MSRP and they honor the price. I would highly recommend them.

I was able to get the new hellcat pro, the only ones they had were for sale on gunbroker, so they were all allocated by being listed. I bid and won, but I was able to get it cheaper than anywhere else I found them. I stopped in to pick it up. Both employees I dealt with were very helpful and friendly. They have a pretty decent selection in store, and an even bigger selection on gunbroker. This was my third trip to the store, all were easy and pleasant. Thanks Guys.

Always a great place to visit. They had pretty much every caliber of handgun and rifle ammo in stock as well as a great selection of firearms, and everything else you need to clean and maintain your gun. Great selection of optics as well. Staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I have bought a few things here first was some ammo that was shipped. At first it said it shipped and was to get here a certain day and it didnt so I contacted on gunbroker and they sent it fast. Second was a firearm I picked up in store they were very nice and transaction was smooth. I will use them again for future firearm purchases.

Sportsman's supply on 356 in Butler pa, has been my go-to sporting goods and firearm store for 40+ years.
. the folks are awesome, the staff knowledgeable and they are well stocked even in tough times. good prices. I made a purchase yesterday that I was very excited about; very few other stores had the inventory to choose from. well worth your time to take a visit there!

Excellent customer service for in-store purchase and transfer from out-of-state. Seemed easy to deal with for both transactions. Have gone in and bought ammo a couple of times without issue. Never tried to buy anything off Gun Broker so can't comment on that. All my experience was prior to COVID.

Been there many times. Great service. Professional and very helpful. Tyler and his dad Mark are first rate. Do not hesitate to buy from them. As an added bonus, the other patrons are a blast to meet and talk to.

Great place to deal with. Never a problem and I've been going there for years. Always beat every other shop on trade in's. Wide selection of firearms and ammo. Employees have always treated me just fine. If you don't like the price, bid the Auctions and set a limit. I don't buy the 1star reviews, I've never seen anything like that there.

I grew up shopping there for all my hunting needs Now that I live far away, I love when I'm in town and go there to shopping, they always carry what ever I need. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. If you need hunting equipment this is the place to go.

This place has everything. if you are looking for any kind of ammunition this place has it and if they don't they'll get it for you. their selection of firearms is fantastic from their new to the used guns they have in stock. They have a very wide selection of used gun. pricing is very good on new gun pricing is pretty good. ammunition you have to be careful some is expensive and some is a bargain but it depends what you were looking for. the staff is great they are knowledgeable and very friendly. there is no military discount bummer but I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a firearm ammunition or hunting supplies

Fantastic service, quick shipping. Those two were key for me. I had previously had middling experience with vendors on GunBroker, but Sportsman's Supply was responsive, item description was accurate, and turnaround from purchase to receipt of item was two business days. Even when they were clearly busy, they made time for me on the phone when I was doing follow up. Will definitely be doing business here in the future.

Very good experience with purchase through gun broker.
I have no idea where all this negative reviews are coming from. My experience and impression of this place is exact opposite. A lot of young people, and few older . Everybody is trying to be helpful and notice you being there. I definitely recommend dealing with Travis, he was the one that was helping me. He's girlfriend finished the transaction for me when he had the day off. I definitely recommend shopping there. Of course for those people that are complaining about of something that day paid too much for, I have to say : stop being stupid and check prices of what you're buying , and how much you pay for it in reference of different places. You can make mistake of overpaying for anything in every store around this planet. There is free market, right? You are the one that is in possession of your wallet. If you have made the wrong choice, blame yourself. Businesses are in business to make money. There must be a reason the parking lot was full when I arrive there.

I’ve been looking for the smith and Wesson 500 in a 3” barrel Birthday present 😉Chelsey and I called all over. Clearfield didn’t have it plus that big store I never had any good experiences there. My primary gun store could order but I did not want too wait 2 weeks. This guy had it in stock actually had three different versions. They have everything he said over 10,000 guns and I believe it the store is big.the employees were very friendly and very fast. I haven’t done paperwork in awhile but it was fast. I really liked this store check it out next time your in butler.
