El Guajillo Mexican Restaurant

This restaurant has incredible food. The best tacos I have ever had. The service was fast. And the restaurant itself is so cool. From the tables and chairs, to the hand painted murals on the walls. It's the attention to details for me. I will be back.

My girlfriend and I had a great time here. The food is amazing, the proportions are generous, the food is clearly made with love, and the server was quite nice! Overall, a great place eat with family and friends, and I will be returning.

Prior to seeing a show at the Buck’s County Playhouse, we stopped into this restaurant for dinner.
It is a small restaurant with a tiny patio. We sat on the patio.
There was only one Guy working here, and so there was a bit of confusion over where to sit, how to order, etc. Eventually, we did sit on the patio, and the one person came and acknowledged us. He apologized for delays, and took our drink order.
We then ordered our meals and were given nacho chips and salsa. The red salsa is very hot – inferno -hot. It was a lot spicier than I imagined possible.
The meals – were very fresh, served hot, and very plentiful. The flavours were on point – exactly what I would expect from good quality Mexican food.
We had so much food, we could not finish it all, and since we were on our way to a show, we couldn’t take home leftovers.
This was a great place to go for a good meal. It was just unfortunate we didn’t have the time to properly savour the meal.
The Prices of our meal were so cheap and the most affordable meal we had on our entire trip.
The gentleman working was all alone, as the restaurant was short staffed that night, this caused delays and a lot of work for him, but he kept his cool. And was always pleasant and friendly.
I tipped him 50% because he deserved recognition, but also because I saw other people were cheaping out on tip due to the delays. He was doing his very best under tough circumstances and he was very nice the whole time.

Great authentic Mexican food in New Hope! The tables and chairs are beautiful and they said they were hand made in Mexico and imported. We started the meal with the Agua Chile (incredible and amazing, a must have), tamales (great authentic flavor), and beef empanada (good). We then went family style with tacos birria (another must get, so good! ), lengua tacos (tacos with tongue, sounds weird, but delicious! ) and the tortas (good). I'd highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent food and service here. Very cute and nicely done and well decorated. It is just so perfect in New Hope. All of the vibrant colors and art work everywhere. Even the tables and chairs. So nice. The food is so delicious. Highly recommend if you are in town.

Absolutely wonderful and authentic. Lots of different options, what we ordered was super tasty and reasonable. The decor is absolutely beautiful and vibrant, I can’t believe the level of detail in each piece of furniture.

I had the Gorditas and selected 3 different proteins. The pork was shredded and my favorite, followed by the chicken, and steak. The rice is delicious, and the black beans are out of this world! The service was wonderful as well. My friend ate all of her empanadas too, which is a rarity. We will be back. Qué rico. Muchas Gracias!!

Ate outside on the patio, small but cozy. Very attentive service. Food was amazing! Chilaquiles, enchiladas, tamales, burritos. And I loved my Jamaica!

Visiting from Brooklyn. Great price. Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. What more could we want.

Great food and wide variety. Shrimp sopes were great and so were the lingua tacos. We also got the sweet plantains they were so good.

Right in the heart of New Hope this gem has a friendly staff and their tacos were excellent! Definitely worth stopping in the food comes out fresh hot and quick!!!

I consider myself a little bit of a taco expert. I tried the steak and carnita tacos and they were both delicious. The staff is also super friendly. I'll be back - like the terminator on a taco eating spree.

This was the best part of my day in New Hope. Happened upon this little place by accident and decided to give it a try....boy I'm glad I did. We both ordered the birria tacos and they were delicious. Already planning on returning to try some of there other delicious foods.

Food came out fast and was good, would definitely eat here again.

One of the best places to eat in town! Delicious, authentic, hits the spot! Have been eating here for months and it's my go to spot for burritos al pastor! Very friendly and highly recommended ♥

Stopped in last weekend for a quick lunch..very friendly, fast, & DELICIOUS! The carne asada tacos were so good and the salsa was nice and spicy!
