Butler Memorial Hospital

Thank you all at Butler Memorial on tower floor 6. My son had surgery this week.Room 6224.
I wish that I remembered all the names of the nurses,the aids and anyone connected with taking care of my son, including the check in personal on floor 2...Dr Lee was the doctor: he was great.
ALL of you were just fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and considerate. My son was continually checked on including asking me for any needs.All of you deserve a gold star.

Please recognize Markus of security as well as all security emergency room and.intensive care staff and doctors for helping our family Saturday night. Mom was life flighted in and the staff was simply exceptional - incredibly professional, compassionate, and skilled

I had surgery at Butler Memorial yesterday and the nurses were just wonderful. I wish I could remember their name to give them some praise. I had a very good experience. The facility was clean and efficient. My last surgery was at Beaver Valley Hsp and it was an awful experience with grumpy nurses, grungy facility and an incompetent Dr.

I’m only giving a 1 star- I was admitted yesterday because I had a heart attack. The nurse yesterday asked me a half dozen times to hold my hands up and keep them still, I finally asked her why she keeps doing that and she told me to see how my withdrawal symptoms from alcohol and drugs are. I respectfully told her that I’m 100% clean and sober and have been sober since I left their detox unit months ago. She treated me like I was a looser and I didn’t appreciate it. Just because she can read my chart seeing about me being in detox month’s ago doesn’t make it right her treating me like that.?

Sent home my senior family member after experiencing a seizure while driving, wrecking, being in the ambulance ride, and then disoriented. Was told to follow up with neurology and discharged without being no admitted. They live alone!! This is unacceptable and terrifying for family who are not close. Way to fail your patients BHS.

Worse experience ever. If you click on all the reviews I’ve given it’s been about hospitals lately. So clearly I’m trying to get help. Not going into to much detail to keep confidential, but yeah. If you’re struggling with anything that requires you to voluntarily check yourself in. This isn’t the place.

If I could give a minus rating I would. I was given medication I was allergic I told them and it was written in my records that I a reaction to that medication. My next unfortunately bad experience was when I was hospitalized for anemia and all the doctor wanted to do was to send me to Concordia for my knee altho I had advised I had recently been an ortho and was planning on a knee replacement as PT did not work. There was no discussion re an iron infusion. There was no prescription for iron meds I later found out both would have been in line.And my jeans were lost. WOW

Never heard of a hospital that doesn't pick up calls. I been calling from 7am till 3 pm nobody answered the phone. That's unheard of. Can't believe NOBODY picking up

We don’t go to the ER often but every time we have, we have had to wait an exorbitant amount of time. Sometimes 6 or more hours. One instance we had to wait 2 hours for them to decide whether they were going to admit my husband or not. This was after we there all night

Allison Gaiser is a terrible human being. I hope everyone at the hospital finds out what she did to her dog and completely ruins her life

If I could give zero stars I would. Staff are incompetent, I’ve never seen a more unorganized place.

If you have a real issue, dont go here......by the time your done with the constant merry-go-round,you'll either pass,the issue will resolve itself or have to go to the E.R.......theyre incompetence is alarming and cant understand how theyre still a functional medical facility.

Horrible

2 hours to get back to be seen. Another hour before I even seen my nurse!!! While I'm laying here crying in pain. Meanwhile I see other patients being taken care of before me. It's absolutely ridiculous!

If I could give Butler Hospital zero stars I would....the way this hospital runs their mental floor is so sad ..... definitely does not care for their patients .....yes I agree they the staff definitely fail their patients and lack human feelings for the sick...my child ended up with a blood clot in their lung because of their lack of care
