Rising Sun Inn

I had my wedding at Rising Sun Inn about 6 months ago. Theresa herself was amazing! She made everything about my day stress free. Due to the weather we had to move my ceremony inside, and she could tell that I was stressed about having the ceremony in the barn where the reception was. Being the amazing person that she is she was able to make their enclosed patio look absolutely beautiful for my ceremony (the night before). Her staff was amazing as well, One of them even went out of their way to MAKE my 3yo chips! Everyone loved the food, and I could not have had a better wedding day!

Fantastic atmosphere and fantastic food!! The service was great as well as the wide variety of selections. Drinks were also great and the history of this place is remarkable! The Liberty Bell was actually stored here at some point as well. It's an amazing place with a great atmosphere, friendly service and food!

11 years later I’m here and it’s phenomenal!!! I had my graduation dinner here in 2011 and I haven’t been back since but their brunch is phenomenal and the bartender is amazing! So happy I went ! Thank you for making my experience as an adult great I will be back with my husband next time !

Attended for a smaller wedding. Service and food were amazing. The staff all seemed super supportive and helpful. Outdoor wedding backed up to open land with a bison and lots of deer. Barn and its decorations were amazing to support cocktail hour downstairs and dinner upstairs.

This is a beautiful Inn in Telford. It is kept in pristine condition but the best part is the food. It is excellent. I've never had a bad meal there. Their dining room is beautiful and they have a casual bar also where they also serve from the menu or a bar menu. In summer their outside patio is a delight

I was there for a bridal shower. We sat in the side room, which was adorable and a perfect size. The outside was so cute. They have a bison behind the restaurant.

I covered the photography service at Rising Sun Inn in October. It was a beautiful setting for getting ready, first look, ceremony and reception. The staff were extremely helpful, and so friendly. They put a chaise out for us, I loved the decor in the barn which just transformed the place. Highly recommend, and I hope to return for more wedding photography. Delicious food, drinks, and atmosphere. We went with friends and had the Valentine's menu. The appetizers had so much flavor. The house dressing (raspberry vinaigrette) was oh so tasty on the salad. My bison filet was the most tender steak I have ever had. The shrimp, asparagus, and bearnaise sauce was 💣. Drinks and dessert were delicious.
I can't wait to go back for some music and more food.

My party of eight had a great time last night. I love what Chef Lindsey is doing with the menu. It makes the Rising Sun Inn a place where hungry people can be pleased whether they are looking for a pub burger, comfort food, or a fine dining experience. Everyone in my party loved their meals. My black bass was delicate and flavorful. I think I could have eaten about 20 of the bison poppers though! I went there often with my parents starting in the late 70's/early 80's and was introduced to Clams Casino there. My parents would certainly approve of the cuisine Chef Lindsey has created!

This place is really great. Just to know you are stepping into a place that has close to 300 years of history in our area. Also had the privilege of meeting the owner and getting him to show me the new outside seating area. Overall, it is a great place to sit down and unwind for a bit!

Always a great meal. Fantastic bison steaks, burgers, and dishes. Sit on the bar side for the most authentic experience.

We had the best Bridal Shower ever at Rising Sun Inn! The food, staff and atmosphere were wonderful!! The hostess Hailey is delightful! Our little girls LOVED the Bison (the real one and stuffed!) and there were so many great areas to take Instagram worthy pictures (big stone fireplace and field of Sun Flowers!!) All of our guests had a wonderful time and complimented the venue ect. The food portions were very generous, delicious and the pricing was very fair IMHO. We were allowed to bring our own cake and they cut and served it for us free of charge. I'm SO glad to know a place like this is in our area! I would recommend having your event here to everyone!! We will be back for sure! Thank you!!

No issues getting a reservation on a Sunday evening. Everything we ordered -appetizers, entrees, wine - was delicious. Our server was fantastic. Ample parking. Looking forward to returning when the new deck is complete!

Great experience dining here. Excellent food. Had the bison wellington, bison champignon, and bison burger. All loved their dishes. Fun historical atmosphere. Music at the bar corner table was rather loud.

Superb!!! I dont hand out alot of 5 stars but man this place deserves it. Smoked buffalo app, grilled bison steak, the salmon and half roasted duck...ALL delicious!! Nice portions as well! I tried a piece of my husbands key lime pie...delicious! This was my first time here...I will definitely go back!!

Edit...this post says is was 5 months ago as of March 2024...I was there about 5 years ago. Not sure how this is so off.

The cocktails, food and service were top notch. Best dinner we had out in a long time. Will definitely be back again!

Great food and excellent service all around. We had a large group and Anna and Christopher did a great job getting the food out and correct. The manager, Theresa, was also helpful, checking in on us to make sure everything was going well. Highly recommend.
