Wood Heat

My husband and I went to Wood Heat in Quakertown to get an insert for our outdated fireplace. Shawn helped us out and was very knowledgeable and explained all of the different options we could choose from. Communication with him before the install was great and he answered all of our questions. The install went seamlessly as well. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

We had a new fireplace installed this summer by Wood Heat. Absolutely love it! We have electric baseboard heating and the new EPA fireplace should save us thousands each year.

Mark is extremely knowledgeable about wood heating and fireplaces in general, and gave a lot of good insight into how to get the most out of it. I also came by the store after closing once and he still helped answer some questions I had before buying.

There were some hiccups during installation which may have been avoided with smoother communication. If you're DIYing your chase or chimney framing I'd recommend emailing pictures to the store so they can be relayed to the installer crew in case any changes need to be made. Overall the install cost was very reasonable and they did whatever they could to assist post install. We visited multiple places before going with Wood Heat and I'm glad we chose them.

If you're on the fence about getting a wood stove or fireplace, just get one. There's nothing like sitting in front of a warm fire in the middle of winter. The new high efficiency units put out a lot of heat and create much less creosote.

Wouldn’t buy a stove anywhere else! They have great options from multiple quality stove manufacturers. Customer service and employee knowledge was 100%. With some information about your specific home and chimney, Wood Heat will make a perfect recommendation for your specific needs. Install was beautiful. I went with the Kuma Cascade LE insert and am blown away by the heat it provides…and I was skeptical. Not anymore. IT’S A BEAST.

From the very start, everyone I met was helpful and informative. I had been into the store in Quakertown pre-covid to purchase a gas fireplace insert and was worried, with inflation, the cost would now prohibit me from getting one. That was not the case! The cost was only a few hundred dollars more so I made the decision! No more inefficient wood logs, messy ashes and fear of starting a fire in my home. My gas fireplace insert was installed within a week and the servicemen were pleasant and efficient with their time. Their work was neat; they made sure to cover my carpet; they showed me what they had done in the basement; and explained how to use the fireplace before they left. Everyone I met at Wood Heat provided 5 star service all the way!

Donovan skillfully replaced the fan in our 15 year of wood-burning stove. He showed up when he said he would and he worked quickly and respectfully. We were pleased with his service.

Jim was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the details of how my fireplaces work, things to look for and the safety components installed. He made me feel comfortable with what I have and knowledgeable about how to maintain my systems.

Jim was fantastic. Very thorough and knowledgable. Set up and clean up was superb. Definitely would recommend him for any service work.

My family and I ordered Trekkeri- MBK pellet stove. Beautiful design, definitely heats up our living room couldn’t be happier. TIM ANDERSON WAS AMAZING. He came out to our home took measurements and explained in details how pellet stove work and much more. Tim also made sure institutional went successfully and followed threw. We ditto everything Mike Yeakel said! Additionally, we were most appreciative that Tim Anderson asked if we had considered a pellet stove when we inquired about new stove pipe for an old wood stove. He said that pipe, to bring our stove up to code, would cost about the same as a new pellet stove and that the pellet stove would be a whole lot less work. We’re so glad he mentioned it; we had not thought of it! We are now the happy owners of a thermostat controlled pellet stove! We picked up the stove and took it to NY where my husband did the install with no problems. We needed additional parts which Tim quickly sent to us. We highly recommend Wood Heat sales and service!

Jim came when they said he was going to be here and fixed my 12 year old insert. He was super…even finally showed me how to use my remote correctly!

A few years ago we bought a wood pellet stove from Wood Heat, and after doing some research with the friendly and knowledgeable people from Wood Heat we found one that fit our needs and budget! We live in a passive solar home and the wood pellet stove was our only heat source. The stove kept the main living area quite warm! We loved the wood pellet stove but opted to get a wood stove for our walk- out basement this past fall. Once again , the friendly and knowledgeable folks found a stove that fit our needs! We couldn’t really use the basement last year because it was just too cold ! But after the stove was installed the basement became such a warm and cozy room where we could hang out or watch TV ! I just love watching the fire! It’s so relaxing ! Thanks Wood Heat !

Wood Heat took care of the entire installation with regards to the gas fireplace insert. They made sure to keep all areas clean. They were able to install the gas line and electric hook-up without any disruption. Tim Anderson was very helpful in selecting the appropriate fireplace insert and took care of all the arrangements without any problems. Didn’t have to wait very long to schedule date of installation. When the job was done the fireplace was beautiful.

working with Wood Heat was a great experience from start to finish. the salesman Tim was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about helping us pick our what stove would be best for our house. We did not feel pressured in the slightest to make a purchase, but we are very happy we did. The installation was quick and easy, and all of the people we dealt with were very kind and professional.10/10 I would recommend Wood Heat
