If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Angelica and Laura are very thorough and are amazing at what they do. Laura has been doing my hair for the last few years and has been such a blessing to find. The whole team at 3 Shears is amazing and very kind and professional. BEST SALON and TEAM IN JOHNSTOWN

Had the most amazing experience and hair cut yesterday. The place and staff is wonderful also very, very clean which I love!! Everyone is so friendly and my hair cut is like the best I ever had! I cannot express how much i HIGHLY RECOMMEND this lovely salon! This salons environment is amazing. I found my forever salon. I wish i came here sooner. The staff are friendly and so welcoming. I could go on about how great this place is. They care about their clients and what they want done. If i could give a 1000 star review I would. I cant wait to take my family here. Such a family friendly place. I hope everyone sees this review and supports this business.

10/10 best salon in Johnstown these girls know what they are doing and how to go about perfecting your hair. The talent at this salon is beyond belief this is definitely my favorite Johnstown hidden gems.

Just got home from my first visit at this salon and I couldn't be happier. I moved to the state in February, and last December I had a haircut that was AWFUL. I'm talking hair to my butt was taken to like 3 inches on top....not good.
I have had an undercut all the way around my head for about 6 years and have loved it. I've grown my hair out to many lengths and styles and gave loved playing with it.
Since December of last year I have grown out my top hair and it was barely touching my shoulders but needed shaped really bad.
I called this morning and was able to come in as a walk in, went in the afternoon and had Laura cut my hair. She did great! I expressed to the owner and my stylist how nervous I was and my previous experince and both of them listened to me and talked through what I did and didn't want to happen.

My hair looks great! I love the look and Laura did everything I asked her too. Will definitely be returning. Price was absolutely fair.

I have been going to family hair care for several years now. I went in for a color today and I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. Jenny is by far the best hair stylist I’ve ever been to and could not be more pleased with any of the services I have received from her. The new owner is also as sweet as can be and is really doing awesome for herself ! Also for all your nail and toe needs, go see that sweet girl in the back ! Had a WONDERFUL experience each time I was there, cut, color, and mani/pedi. I was a nervous wreck since I only live here part time, so I couldn’t go to my regular stylist. I’m a natural ginger, but getting older sucks, so I need a touch up on the red. It’s a VERY tricky color and most stylist don’t do it so well on *already natural* redheads. Well, I hit the jackpot with Angelica! She took extra time with me and made a plan. Won’t go anywhere else while in town!!! Highly recommend. Whole staff was friendly and welcoming!!

I love my haircut from Jenny could not be more pleased. Also the new owner is amazing the shop is so clean and beautiful. Also best jewelry I ever bought so ladies stop on in everything is $5 and her daughter makes it all❤❤

I came in requesting a curly mullet/wolf cut. Kinda nervous since I have curly hair and have a hard time finding people to cut my hair. I’ve never had my hair cut here before. I had Erin and she did such a great job I absolutely love it and definitely will be coming back next time!!!

This was my first visit and definitely not my last. I was late but Angelica waited for me. She was super nice and really knew the best way to cut my hair, which left me super impressed. She took the time to ask all kinds of questions about my hair and how I wear it and she ensured it would look good both in a ponytail and also just down. No one has ever done that before when I previously had it cut. I am so appreciative of her attention to detail, even when my hairstyle is really simple. This is literally the best haircut I have had in years and I couldn’t be happier.

First time I went here and so happy I did! It’s a comfortable setting and everyone is really nice. Sarah does such amazing work! I have blonde hair which not everyone is great at, but she truly knows what she’s doing and is willing to work with you. Great work and good pricing as well.

Sarah is such a talented colorist and stylist. She took the time to explain to me how to replicate the style at home myself. The rest of the staff is polite and it really does seem like a family environment. I enjoy going there which is really not something this introvert would have said about a hair salon before.
