Windber Police Department

My wife & her sisters were visiting their mother for her birthday. Our vehicle had a flat tire when they were getting ready to leave. The police came to help them. The two officers were very courteous & kind. Windber is lucky to have those qualities in their police force.

Andy Frear is the best police chief ever. I've known him since I sat behind him in physics class nearly 40 years ago. He's always been honest and hardworking (and a great baseball player to boot). This PD does a great job, and people should remember that with a limited budget and not many officers, they might be tied up on other calls. Support our nation's police...they get enough grief from leftist fake news.

The chief of police here is not a true upholding law officer. I have been trying for 6 months to get my dirt bike back. I had two of the officers that work there tell me my bike was stolen by theft by deception because my physco ex refuses to give it to me claiming there is storage to be paid when their is no storage contract at all. And because he knows her and she works for victim services he won’t send the charges threw. If anyone in this area needs actual police help you are better off calling the state troopers or your family over them. They don’t protect and serve us.

There is no such thing as actual police work here. The "detective" cannot write a simple police report. Constantly sending shabby reports to the district attorneys office, cluttering them up.

Literally never called this place. They won't help at all we called at 8:40pm and they still are lot here and it 9:30. What great police work they do. But when you go to sheetz or subway you will definitely see these cops!😂 Great work.
