Ray's Nurseries

Great experience buying a Christmas tree today. Many places in our area have a shortage this year, with either no trees for sale, or sad trees that have spent too long on a truck and have needles already falling off.

Ray's had a nice selection of trees kept in water, priced better than the places with sad trees. We got a lovely, healthy-looking Fraser Fir with a full and even appearance. The woman working today was very helpful, and she tied up our tree and helped load it.

Biggest selection of anything you could ask for. Went looking for a Japanese maple tree and their supply was so endless it took me forever to pick one lol. 90% of their products are fresh and healthy. I believe they said there’s something like 15 acres. Do yourself a favor. Don’t shop around just go to rays. They even have gift certificates. Shop and support local businesses this is a good one.

I love this place! There are so many items to choose from. Plants, mulch, indoor plants, outdoor plants, decorations. It's a joyful visit for any gardener. It's hard to tell which is Ray's and which is Stuver's. It's worth the time and drive to the area.

This is a huge, beautiful nursery with a large selection and variety of quality plants. Brook waited on us and was very helpful in giving us information about the various plants to make the best selections. The prices were reasonable as well.

Ray's Nursery is the ONLY place to get flowers, bushes, trees, mulch and planting supplies in Johnstown. Exceptional quality and very fair pricing. They are very helpful in offering ideas for landscaping as well

I always buy my hanging baskets there for myself and my mom. They are just gorgeous and do very well through the summer. They have the best selection in town!
