Seven Stars Inn

It had been over 20 years since I had been here. I am sad our family waited that long to go back to this gem of a local, long time amazing restaurant. The portions are huge! They are known for it. The food is spectacular and they know what they are doing after all these years and it is just as good or even better than I remember it. We went to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary and everything was amazing. They made accommodations for my mother's gluten allergy. The prime rib... chefs kiss. The lobster tail... can not be beat! The service was stellar and they made sure everything was to your liking. Yes, it is expensive but is it worth it? I can not give you a bigger yes, it is worth every penny!

We came to celebrate an anniversary. The service and staff were so friendly. The meal was just as advertised - GENEROUS PORTIONS! Needless to say we took home after meals.

Just finished dinner with my wife. We each had a salad , I had the filet mignon and her crab imperial. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked to my request, soft and tender. The crab imperial was plentiful and filling. All of the food came out in a timely fashion one after the other and not rushed.( Thank you to the kitchen staff for job well done !! ).During our dining experience, Alex T and Graham took care of us from the moment we sat down until we left and both young men were on top of their game. Extremely polite, and always around in case we needed anything. Both of them are and will be the reason for our return. Thank you all !!

We were met at the hostess station by the hostess who was friendly. The guy that show us to our table was nice and made sure we were seated comfortably. Our server, Josh, was professional and knowledgeable about the menu and history or the Inn. The food runner and bus person were attentive and cleared used dishes and glassware quickly. The food was delicious very worth the price. The portions were a good size. Although all everything we had was amazing I do have to call out the homemade onion rings and the homemade pecan pie. They were both exceptional. We had a long drive to get there but we will definitely be back!! Thanks for a great experience!!

We went for Valentine's Day and despite them being very busy, service was great! Our server was Brooke and she was nice and very attentive despite having a lot of tables to manage. We both had the Filet Mignon and it was very good. As with most of their entrees, the portions were huge and both of ours were done perfectly as ordered. We had carrot cake for dessert and it was also very good. We can't wait to return!

Took my wife for her birthday here and what a experience. The food was great. Better then any other place. The people were very nice and the inside of the building was very beautiful it’s like walking into the past. I had their prime rib wow not only it was great tasting but bigger then other restaurants. My wife had the stuffed shrimp and I had a bite and that was amazing. I highly recommend going here for a special night and enjoying a time of your life. I did it was my first time being there. Thank you to all the staff and the cook for a wonderful evening

A historic gem! Lots of character & delicious food AND drinks! A bit more expensive, but you do get what you pay for here. The 10oz twin Lobster tails were sooo good- ate them both:) My husband said the NY strip steak was great. Their Lemon drop martini & White Cranberry martini... simply amazing! We went here for our special Christmas Eve dinner. What a treat! We'll be back!

My family took me here for mother's day. We started with salads. For my entrée I had the seafood combo with included shrimp, scallops, lobster and crabmeat in a creamy wine sauce, my husband had the filet, my one daughter had the grilled chicken while the other had the stuffed flounder. The food was very good. It was a limit menu for mothers day. For dessert we shared the coffee creme brulee and carrot cake. Our server seemed overwhelmed and there were several questions my daughters had about the food that she couldn't answer. Instead of saying let me find out for you her comment was I don't know. Other than that we had a lovely time.

First and foremost. Great vibe, an old inn that has a lot of old-world feel. Then the food. Bread was great, drinks were great, and the main course portions were IMMENSE. I still have a food coma 2 hours later! Had the NY strip, perfectly seasoned, perfect temperature. Would highly recommend!

It's Ungodly expensive but you get what you pay for. The service and food are amazing. Expect 100$ a person minimum.

Seven Stars Inn never disappoints. This is my annual birthday dinner spot. See the beautiful hanging off the plate perfectly prepared prime rib that centered my special day. It's also a wonderful spot to entertain visitors to deliver a genuine OG Pennsylvania experience.

The portions are big but the skill used and quality of the food proves that the large generous portions are far more than a gimick.

The historic building sets the mood and I get lost in thoughts of all those that have dined under that roof since the 1700's. Something special to have so close to home. This business and the building are a bit of American history and it's story is still being told.

BYOB is available several nights during the week with no corkage fee making that a great incentive for a weeknight dinner for the grown ups....call your sitter and reserve a table.

I've said it before many times that any restaurant that serves it's perfectly prepared baked potatoes wrapped in gold foil holds a kitchen you can depend on.

I visit here at least three times a year. The bartenders are so pleasant and knowledgeable. And I guess I shouldn’t say Bartender I should say mixologist. Our server Vicky Was Excellent. her knowledge of the menu in how the food was prepared was super. She even suggested a Wine for dinner. The food presentation was excellent. My king cut of prime rib was superb and the taste was Out of this world. What a wonderful Mother’s Day.

Loved our experience! We started our meal with cheese and crackers which was surprisingly good. Then we enjoyed a caesar salad and fresh baked bread, which were both delicious. For appetizers we had the stuffed mushrooms and the scallops wrapped in bacon - both of which were fantastic. For our main course we had the twin lobster tails (Austrailian) stuffed with crab and shrimp. It was phenomenal. The portions were big and the flavors were excellent. For dessert we had the peach Melba, which was a bit disappointing as it was just vanilla ice cream with canned peaches. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely return.

We enjoyed another great meal together for Valentine's day. Great service - like Chick fil a. They find the best young hard working people ever. And the food is always amazing. Enough for 2 meals. And still tastes great the next day. Thank you to everyone at Seven Stars Inn.

This is an upscale steakhouse with a casual feel. I did a lot of searching for a nice place to take the wife on our anniversary and came across Seven Stars. I checked out the website and looked at the menu. I also read the reviews section and noticed the good reviews and a few not so good. The not so good complaints were mainly about the prices but I had already looked at the menu knowing what to expect. This is a special occasion dining experience not a weekly visit restaurant. Our appetizers were great, our steaks were large and cooked to perfection. We even managed to save room for dessert. Our server was Brook and you couldn’t ask for anyone better. She was busy and managed to keep our drinks full, she was also very helpful with menu questions and overall very friendly. If you are looking for an upscale restaurant for a special occasion I highly recommend Seven Stars Inn.

My husband took me here on my birthday and I ordered the Queens cut filet mignon and stuffed lobster tail. Stuffed means a huge cake of lump crab shrimp and hollandaise sauce all on top of the lobster tail. But the tail was so big everything else would have fallen off and made a mess so the waiter brought the “stuffed” on a separate plate. The atmosphere was relaxing there were people around us but it wasn’t crowded. It was expensive. Not kid friendly. This place is great for celebrating a special occasion or if you just want to impress someone.

8 of us had dinner last night here for a birthday& it was honestly one of the best experiences i have ever had! The food was Outstanding! My surf & turf had a perfectly cooked medium rare filet w/ very tender Lobster. Great quality. Our waitress Michelle was the best! We never had to want for anything, before even noticing she is on top of drink refills & anticipated all of our needs! She was so friendly & really on top of everything. I would definitely request her next time we dine(she wears red glasses).

Always a great experience- have been coming here since I was a kid. Service is great and food is even better! Big portions- well worth it.

The dining experience here NEVER disappoints! The atmosphere nice, warm and inviting, the staff just attentive enough, without rushing you, and the food,, the best you will ever have! A++
