Carlisle Theatre

I am a regular patron at Carlisle Theatre performances; however, this weekend, I had the opportunity to provide event support to my client, Cantate Carlisle, during the Spring concerts.

The space and stage were great for the performance. The staff - including Ashley and Amanda - were gracious, pleasant to work with, and willing to serve us even when we realized errors in our own specifications for the rental.

On weekends, parking is typically pretty easy, and the Theatre is easily navigable for patrons with mobility issues. It was a great two-day event, and we will happily continue our annual rental of the Theatre for our performances.

We stopped here during the ice fest. To get a picture with Barbie. And we also were able to purchase a Barbie bag to help the theater as well. As having the concession stand open, this theater was great. It is not overpriced and I greatly enjoyed my time here

What a wonderful theatre to visit. They have movies, plays, musicals, concerts, and more. The community can sponsor movies and rent the theatre for private events. The Artistic Director and Box Office Manager are always helpful and working hard. There is plenty of history in this beautiful building, so if you have not visited, please do! I am so happy that there are so many caring people to donate their time and money to keep this business around. So, what are YOU waiting for? Grab some friends and catch a movie!

Great venue. They sell popcorn and drinks. Went to hear the Carlisle Town Band. They are awesome.

We used the space to show a movie as a fundraiser for our nonprofit. The venue is ideal. And their staff super helpful. Strongly recommend.

Absolutely love this theatre. Absolute tops since Ashley Byerts has been Artistic Director. "The Crucible" was stunning. First rate performances all around. Make it a regular part of your theatre experience!

Great old theater with movies, plays, and concerts. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

This is a downtown Carlisle hidden gem. It's beauty and age sets you right back in the days of theatre. The seats are pretty comfortable and the area is spacious. We usually park in the lot behind the theatre and walk to eat, go see a musical (Urine Town was amazing!), and have some drinks afterwards. Everything is nearby! I can't wait to go back for the next production.

I haven't been here in years. Still as lovely as I remember. And I got to see my favorite band there.

Whether it's a live show or a movie, the historic Carlisle Theater is the perfect venue, offering a variety of great entertainment.

Saw Keran Carpenter tribute band. An excellent performance. The theater was cozy. Due to its small size there is not a bad seat in the house.

Take a trip back in time to a classic theater with lots of local history. The management has been thinking outside of the box to bring new and fun things for the residents of Carlisle. Musical, 90s themed trivia nights, for example, with concessions and live music, ended up being a ton of fun. Of course there are plays and movies as is to be expected, and it's a great way to mix things up.

Wonderful night. Sounded just like the original Fleetwood Mac.

The theatre is a little old but everything works well. Most importantly, the comedy and magic show was so good and relaxing.

I haven't ever seen a bad show here. Been here multiple times for a wide variety of events. Everytime is like the first time!

Great venue. Really well-maintained all around; tasteful and not absurdly ornate decorations. The acoustics were great, at least for the show that I attended. Seating was arranged well, I could see everything in spite of a really tall person sitting in front of me.
