We’ve been using Middletown Ice and Coal to buy home heating oil since 1984. My father did before me. When I started using them I knew right away why he stayed with them for so long. They’re friendly and knowledgeable and know you by name when you call. Professional and prompt with delivery. I’ll never use anyone else.

They were really good very like dealing with them

I had them out to look at a heat pump that wasn’t working. The system was less than 10 years old. The service guy spend 2 hours checking it out and concluded that the compressor was broken and whole system needed replaced which would have costs thousands of dollars.

Then I called another guy for a second opinion. He spend 5 minutes looking at it, bought a new capacitor for $15, and the system was working within the hour.

Then I had to argue with the boss two times about not paying the charge. There is an issue with either incompetence or ethics. I greatly suspect it’s an ethics problem and I won’t ever be using this company again.

These people are just rude! My last time ever giving them my business that’s for sure!
