Best Western Shippensburg Hotel

Easy access to a restful night’s sleep. Hotel is older but very well maintained. Both the night and day managers were very friendly. We had a small TV issue and he came to our room immediately to resolve it. Miss Pam and Miss Penny were very sweet and kept the breakfast area clean and well stocked. An obnoxious guest tried to bring a dog into the breakfast serving area. The guest admitted that his dog was not a service animal. Miss Penny, firmly but very politely, asked him to please remove his dog as it is Best Western policy not to have pets in the eating area. He became very loud, saying obscenities to both staff members. Both ladies handled it with grace and dignity. My husband asked the guest to please refrain from that language and behavior reminding the guest that the ladies were only doing their job and that the staff members and other guests present did not have to endure that kind of behavior. The guest left and we had a very pleasant breakfast. The property also has a lovely indoor pool.

Excellent staff! Wonderful breakfast served with a friendly smile! Pool and hot tub were spotless and, well, just perfect! One entry door had a stubborn lock, but a small problem with a otherwise GREAT place to stay.

Nice clean hotel, staff was friendly and courteous. The best hotel I have stayed at in a long time, The only complaint is the small parking lot hard to fit a 30' trailer.

We needed a port in a storm due to difficult weather while driving north on highway 81 Monday afternoon. This was a great value and I had a pet with us. Everything about our stay surpassed my expectations. I honestly can’t remember the last time I stayed in a Best Western. Easily over 10 years ago when we were road warriors following our son’s college football days. So looking ahead I will happily use Best Western again!

Honestly for a 90$ Best Western this is pretty good. The room was clean and nice . The pool wasnt fancy but better than average. Hot tub and sauna were a plus. This a halfway point for a frequent summer drive and I'll stay here again

We stayed in this hotel last night.
The front check-in staff was very very friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable it was a little bit small but it worked out perfect for us.
The breakfast was good it was nice seeing eggs that actually were eggs and they look like eggs the lady working in the kitchen area was very friendly.
Will definitely stay here again

If you are looking for a quick get-a-way; then this is the place. I really look the indoor heated pool; spa sauna and the hot tub. They have an gym also. Nice atmosphere. This is one of my new favorite places to go. When I just need to a self care break.

Tom was fabulous,he did a great job with the breakfast buffet and went out of his way to help,and was very friendly,as well as the young man working the counter,we are truck driver's and needed a hot tub,our stay was fantastic and the place smelled good and was very clean.

Kiki checked us in and was super friendly and helpful. We had a jacuzzi room with a balcony but the balcony was overlooking the pool instead of being outside so that was weird. The pool was nice though, as was our room. Nice quiet part of town and clean hotel.

Price was right, staff was great and the rooms were very nice!

Very quiet, a little off the beaten path in that you have to drive a bit to reach things. Pool area is very nice. We got one of the two suites that have a balcony overlooking the pool. Room was clean and very spacious. Hot tub was large and clean.

Five stars for the price!! $89 for comfy beds, great breakfast variety, great A/C unit. The kitchen staff kept the crispy bacon coming. There was a medicine vending machine including Advil PM. It also has a beautiful indoor pool. They were also able to accommodate us last minute without a reservation on a Saturday night. The staff was wonderful and friendly. I recommend room 119 if possible. This hotel was approved by the whole family!!!

My stay was great, the staff was amazing as well as the rooms. They are very clean and very cozy. The sauna, hot tub, and pool were very relaxing and not usually full. If I had an issue they were on it. They also have vending machines, and laundry stars services.

Very enjoyable stay! The bed was comfy and the sheets were a dream! The decor was adorable and room was comfortable and homey! The room had a full size refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker! Would stay again!

Truck lost power last night and it was getting too cold to sleep in it. We took a Lyft and got a room right away. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and so was the room. The only problem we had was that the drapes did not close all the way and the black curtains did not keep all of the light out. Other than that I was pleased.

Clean hotel. Nice people. Good breakfast. Nothing so very fancy but a warm inviting place. Many smiles. Rates very very reasonable in a day when everyone wants way too much.

Exterior was a bit dated, but didn't deter from our visit at all. Check in was fast and staff was very welcoming. PooI and spa were beautiful and by far the nicest I've been to at a hotel with this price point! Many options for breakfast as well. Would stay again in a heartbeat, cannot beat the value for the price!!

Staff were great! Had a great time in the pool! Card stopped working to get in the room the first night, but the issue was resolved immediately

Hotel staff was pleasant and friendly. Rooms were clean, anytime we needed anything help was provided quickly. Pool and spa were great. I would definitely stay there again.
