Courtyard by Marriott Shippensburg

Booking was simple and price was very reasonable. Check in was smooth and they were all ready for me. The front desk personnel was cheerful, professional, and very well spoken. The parking was ample, hotel very clean, room very clean, pool and hot tub was very relaxing. There is a bar and bistro as well.

This is my favorite hotel in Shippensburg, and one of the best Marriotts I've ever stayed at!

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating with things such as room floor choice and late checkout. The rooms are very clean and modern. It was quiet, which has been a problem recently with stays in other hotels - not here.

Also nice are little touches like using warm color light bulbs instead of the cool and very sterile ones that are so common. The decor was inviting as well.

Overall, this 4 night trip over Christmas was absolutely wonderful, and I look forward to a great stay the next time I'm in town!

I got in a little bit late and I was very happy with my experience here. The staff were all very welcoming and I was even able to make it to the bar right before close. I love how spacious the rooms are including the bathroom. The hotel was a little bit out the way but it's perfect for a peaceful and quiet night which Is what I needed. There is also a late checkout time which is a plus. Marriott has not let me down yet.

Great hotel on campus. Within walking distance to the Luhr's center so, perfect place to stay if you want to catch a show and not have to worry about driving. Rooms are clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. Bar area is nice, bar service is friendly and efficient. They offer a small indoor pool and hot tub as well. I will definitely stay here again!

I didn't stay there, but I set my review at a 5 . I did that because the look from the inside was fantastic!! I can only believe that the rooms are just as nice . I stopped in for the Turkey Trot registration. I was amazed at places. I didn't know we had such a nice hotel in the area . I will make sure that my wife and I stop in to try the food . The menu and the prices looked real good !!

We have stopped here many times over the last few years. Rooms are clean and modern. Service is excellent. The bar and bistro have nice offerings. Breakfast was great. Thank you Anne!

Great hotel... well kept, nice staff.. They have an employee, Jordan I believe... that guy is the hardest working, & nicest person I've ever met in my many years of frequenting Marriott hotels hands down.

The service in this place was phenomenal. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. To give you an idea of what I'm talking about: I was unable to get a Lyft or an Uber to take me back to the airport. Various employees came out to check on me, tried to find me a last minute taxi, offered me coffee and water while I waited, etc. Just when I thought that I was going to miss my flight, one of the employees, Anne, let me know she had just finished her shift and could drive me to the airport! We're talking about driving a stranger one hour - not the kind of service I would expect anywhere! (By the way, I made it to my gate just as they were calling my boarding group. Thanks Anne!)
I don't often take the time to leave a review, but when a place is truly amazing as this one is, I simply have to. I would give the service six stars if they would let me!

Our room was very clean, and the staff was wonderful. Always friendly and helpful. The pool looked a little dingy and the hot tub was out of order, but everything else was just as pictured. I appreciate how clean everything was!

The hotel is kind of in the middle of nowhere and right next to a high school. Not exactly convenient, but only a 2-minute drive back into town and a 3-minute drive to the Appalachian Brewing Company!

The location works great for us with our son playing baseball at Ship. The staff is always very helpful and pleasant. Ann was very helpful with a place to go today when the games were rained out. Always nice to have friendly people to talk with. Definitely recommend.

Atmosphere was great and the staff was incredibly kind and attentive! Vanessa in the Bistro did an amazing job cooking and serving guests! The room was clean and service was geat! Michaela at the front desk did a great job at managing everything and keeping an upbeat attitude! will stay again

This was a very nice Marriott located next to the college. Has an indoor pool and a hot tub.Also has The Bistro which has limited hours mostly for breakfast and dinner.
Nice dining area with lots of seating. Best hamburgers ever! The rooms were clean. Bathrooms clean. Our room overlooked the college's athletic fields. There are two spots for electric cars. Firepit on the patio off the dining and lounge areas. There is a full service bar in The Bistro. Guest laundry. Business Center. There is a Market Place off the lobby which was well stocked, even beer and wine. The only negative are the beds. For me, they are too soft if you have back problems. Other than that everything was great.

Welcoming entry way with amenities such as wifi lounge, bar, vending machines. We were greeted pleasantly. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable - we had a two queen suite. The courtyard is lovely. I’ll admit I’m disappointed in the pool area, it’s smaller than it appears in the photos, the hot tub was empty, and there is a sign posted that says no jumping (ok) or playing (um it’s a recreation area!).

Had my sons 40th Birthday party here this past weekend. I do not have one negative comment about this place and the staff !! It was simply OFF the charts !! From the time we checked in (we had 10 rooms booked) we were treated like GOLD ! The rooms were clean and comfortable. I just can not say enough wonderful things about this staff !! Marriott really lucked out with this crew. Even the comedy they supplied when I was clearly stressing a little bit. Half of us are from New York so, not an easy crowd to please. Have not stopped raving about them since we have been home. A special thank you to Maureen, Matt, Emily and Anne ! Would hire you all in a minute. THANK YOU for everything ! You guys rock !

Great service and room breakfast is not included with room purchase

This is a great hotel and so very convenient when visiting Shippensburg University. The rooms are spotless, huge, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the food, the views, and even the lobby was filled with light and gorgeous decor. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Will stay again.

Nice hotel, we spent one night only but very satisfied with this place.

We just conducted a company daylong seminar at the Shippensburg Courtyard by Marriott. The staff was enthusiastic and helpful. The management was keen snd receptive. The breakfast and lunch were balanced, nutritious and delicious. And I would like to give a shout out to the concierge who more than pleasantly and professionally attended to my special needs. Great job everyone!

The hotel looks brand new from the outside and is very well maintained. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are nice, especially if you book or are upgraded to a suite. The rooms did not have mouthwash but the receptionist had some bottles which she gave me to use.
