Overall amazing service. The person who answered the phone was so nice and very helpful. She was able to get me an appointment right away and their prices are good. The guys that came out, especially the first guy who came out to verify the problem prior to install of a new well pump, were so kind and helpful. Kindness goes a long way and this company has gained a new customer for any future needs. If you’re looking for a job done right by people who take pride in their work then this is the company for you!

Plumbing/Well:
Travis responded last evening to our residence for low water pressure throughout the house. He was thorough with his troubleshooting and diagnosis. He explained the problem, repair and pricing, also advised on some minor issues with the boiler. He was back out first thing this morning to repair the issue, the water pressure is better than ever. 2nd time using this company and been great both times, a great small operation, highly recommend!

One of the last all American, know what they're doing, honest, reasonably priced, arrived same day as we called, done in an hour, looked like a professional and fixed our busted pipe. I Thank God for them!

I recently had Geo thermal,well and plumbing issues. I sought out a highly reccomended contractor and hired them. They came out and told me what I needed. Long story short. I let them do the work and I signed a HVAC and plumbing contract with them .The work was unsatisfactory as well as unnecessary. They pretty much told me they've done all they could do for me. Leaving me no other choice I searched for another contractor. I called E.R. Lighty through a recommendation from a customer of mine. They came out the same day. They pulled my well pump and found the problem,fixed it and had me back in service the same day. They also found my pressure tank was bad and a few other problems created by the other contractor.i specifically told the other contractor that I thought there was a pressure tank problem. They said nope it was fine. E.R. Lighty also took care of my problems over the Christmas Holiday. Needles to say I am so pleased with E.R. Lighty. They are my new plumbing,well,HVAC contractor. They are very knowledgeable and the owner is actually a worker. Jason and Missy and Tom and the whole crew are a class act. Thank you for treating me like I am your biggest concern when I am having a crisis

Never an issue with this business. Always treated us fairly. If a repair will cost us anything, we're given a quote first then we decide to go with it or not. The previous owner of our house employed them and we'll continue to do so.

They are very professional. They have done a lot of work for me over the years. They are very dependable and reliable. Prices are reasonable. I even recommended them to my Mom.

This company is great! They do the highest quality work, complete with warranties on work they preform. Their warranties stand the test of time.

Update: despite my earlier positive review, the last three times I have called Lighty for repairs or estimates, their charges have been through the roof (yes, even with inflation and Covid 19). One example--to fill my unit up with R22 they charge $250 per LB. This is insane. For a new unit installation, they quoted me at 14k for an Amana. I have selected another company (DNR) who charge $150 per lb of R22 and 5-7k for an entirely new unit. I have checked with other vendors who quoted me similarly to this quote from DNR. With that said, the service from Lighty is still very good and they definitely know what they are doing. They've come out on late night house calls when we had our sump pump overflow and nearly destroy our basement. They are very professional and courteous.

Old Review: I have used this company three times at two different homes. They are courteous, respectful, competent, and diligent. Once they replaced a full toilet for me after I botched it up (whoops!). Another time they adjusted my HVAC system when the squirrel cage went bonkers. Another time they gave me a flat fee run over of my entire HVAC and plumbing system (great peace of mind). The only reason I gave them four stars--they gave me an estimate of some basement plumbing install work. Just my opinion, the price ran a bit high. I don't think they were being dishonest, I just think they value the quality of work they provide--and I am appreciate that they gave me a free estimate! Overall, pleased with this company! Negative reviews above seem uncharacteristic based on my experience with both Travis and Mr. Lighty.

Had an element replaced, and was charged $427 for the part and labor, this seems expensive for an element replacement, but I agreed to it which is not their fault . The issue I had is the initial quote I received was $516 which included the callout cost. When I called to service an appointment I was told that the callout fee would be waived if I agreed to have them do the repairs. The fact that I had to ask the repairman why the callout fee was still included in the quote and that I had to let him know I was told that it would be waived before he removed it from the quote suggests some dishonesty on their part to make a few extra bucks.If I hadn't said anything I most probably would have ened up paying for the call out and repair. Also,on the invoice they stated "N/A" for warranty on parts and labor, therefore if something happens in the next couple days they aren't liable. Otherwise I thought the service was fine and the element replaced is currently working .

my mom called to get an estimate on a new unit, and the person came out and charged me $228 to give me a quote for a unit that was $3100 more than the next quote I got. They came out quickly. I understand why now. I would've come out to make $228 for doing nothing. I don't recommend this company.
