I had an amazing experience with Shadel Roofing! We had a new roof installed on house, garage, front, and back porches. Also had gutters and gutter guards installed, along with four skylights. The guys were so polite and courteous, communicated any issues, cleaned up every bit of debris, worked hard all day long, and produced an amazing looking roof. I can't speak highly enough of my experience. Shadel was most competitively priced too. Highly recommend and suggest you look no further!

I have never done a review before, but my experience with Shadel Roofing and Siding was so positive I felt I had to! They did the roof on my house almost 30 years ago, so when it came time to have it done again last year I called for an estimate. I also called 2 other companies to appease my friends since I am now a widow. Shadel's estimate was considerably less expensive and much more detailed. Also, they use shingles that have a warranty that is transferrable if you sell your home.
The crew was efficient, professional and friendly. The experience was so positive, that this year when my son's home needed a new roof, we didn't hesitate to call Shadel Roofing. Again, a very positive experience!

I don’t do many reviews but was so pleased with this job, I felt I had to share my experience. From proposal to job completion, every step was a positive experience for me. Shadel Roofing provided a very detailed, very competitive bid and followed up with great communication (both by phone and email) and quickly responded to all my questions. Their crew was outstanding! I can’t say enough about Jim (the foreman) and Nate…both very professional, friendly and courteous with great work ethic. They showed up every morning around 6:30 a.m. and went right to work…and the quality of their work is second to none. Jim said he has been in the business for 27 years…and it was evident in the high quality, meticulous work he produced. In addition to my house roof, the garden shed needed new wood on the roof and it turned out great. Per my request, they replaced the gable vents and they look fantastic! Even small cosmetic things were done that really make the roof look nice (e.g., changed color of white PVC vent pipes to black…looks great). Oh, and talk about a clean work site? Every night when I came home from work I walked around the house…there was no debris anywhere but in the back of the truck where it belonged. I even made a conscious effort to look for old roofing nails on the ground and only found 2 throughout the whole job (that is impressive). Finally, I must say that we were just so pleased with the appearance of our new roof. The gray architectural shingles are beautiful and really complement the color scheme of our house; a definite improvement to the curb appeal of our home. . I have heard so many “horror stories” about roofers/roofing projects but my experience was quite the opposite. I would definitely recommend Shadel Roofing to anyone looking to replace their roof. Great to do business with. Everything was delivered as promised in the contract and at the best price on a transferable lifetime roof that I was quoted. Job was completed on time and no mess was left behind. I highly recommend Shadel Roofing.

Efficient and outstanding work. Great group of guys always going out of their way to keep you up to date on the project. The guys always went beyond to clean up when they finished each day. The owner is also very responsive in meeting the customer’s needs. Great company! Would definitely recommend!

Based on the recommendation from a relative, I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate. I explained that I wanted to replace the roof because my homeowner’s insurance requested it. The man who I spoke to was very rude and unprofessional and stated, “I’m not interested”!!! Couldn’t even get him to come out an do a free estimate like is advertised on the website. I will be sure to let others know about the negative experience I have had with this company!

No, I’m not removing this review at all. I clearly stated I needed an estimate because my homeowner’s insurance was requesting it. I never mentioned that I didn’t need you to do the work. When I have a major project that needs done I get multiple estimates. I consider professionalism, price, and adequate communication when selecting a contractor to do a job. You asked how soon I needed the work done and in no way did I state it was an emergency situation.
Yes, someone “recommended” me to this company but it doesn’t mean I will be satisfied with you because clearly I was not in the least bit impressed with the interaction. I was sure to let them know not to refer other prospective clients to this business.
I have since acquired some free estimates from professional competitors in the area and will have the roof replaced within 2 months.

I called to explain I had damage done too our roof due to the storm. He immediately cut me off and asked did we install your roof. I said no and he replied we don’t do repairs there is too much business. We replace roofs. I never said repair.... we need our roof replaced. I was disappointed in the way he handled this call. How you talk to customers when owning a business is so important. Try listening.

Used to use this business but….
These people were rude, Inconsiderate and downright nasty. Came with an attitude after they messed up a first appt for assessment to replace a window. Second appt they refused to wear a mask if they needed to come inside to complete assessment, as well as give any substantial feedback or information. Complaint to manager was worthless as she defended and supported this person. Try Mackey’s, a new glass service!

Called and asked for to set up an estimate. He was rude and hung up on me.
