I went to see Dr. Romansky due to a lump under my toe that was growing a causing me pain. I said I believed surgery was needed, he said no and suggested I get a variety of new shoes to help the problem, which they did not. I did not feel that the doctor actually listened to me, he focused on other things and not what I came to see him for. I knew I had arthritis - I didn't need him to tell me that, I wanted the issue with the lump addressed.
After seeking a second opinion, it seems that
Dr. Romansky completely missed the screw from a previous surgery that had dislodged in my toe and was now coming down through the bottom of my toe, requiring surgery to remove it.
If in doubt, get a second opinion.
