A family member had recommended this place for breakfast, so we figured we would give them a try before heading out of town. SOOO happy we did! The place is very small, but the food and customer service was great. We a reg breakfast sandwich and the smoked meat breakfast sandwich. Both were phenomenal!! If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and grab a bite to eat here!!

Great deli right off Church St. In Vermont, you gotta go with the turkey, apple, and VT cheddar wrap. Food is fresh made to order. The only reason it's 4 star on atmosphere is that there's no seating available. However there is a lovely park right across the street!

Great place for take out. Got a cheese steak sandwich that was delicious. Great people who work there. Definitely somewhere you should check out.

The Shiner is an absolute staple in this community. Get TWO perfect hash-browns on that baby. Staff always cool, especially the owner, Sara.

The only reason it looks scrunched is because I got it to go. Amazing! Friendly helpful service. I will definitely be back to try some more of their "Rise and Shiners" in the future. It's definitely a spot where locals go because of the quality and fair prices. A real hidden gem amongst all the tourist spots near by which are usually super over priced

A simple no frills hole in the wall deli with simple food, and large portions. They stick to the absolute basics and do it well. A triple threat shiner is pricey and not particularly healthy but if you eat that you are good for the day. Service tends to be pretty good when they aren't crowded. You have to cut them some slack at night because the place is next to 50 bars and tends to be packed full of drunk college kids.

Thank you SOOO MUCH for taking my order at the last minute. And thanks for playing don’t let me down. That walk down church street was seriously traumatizing. I needed that short moment to collect myself before making the journey home. Best deli in Vermont, hands down! Thank you so much!

Literally my favorite lunch/dinner selection in Burlington. Variety of foods, great customer service, fair prices and reasonable hours for a take-out only restaurant. DO CALL AHEAD! They're always busy, so save yourself the wait at the front and order over the phone 15-20 minutes in advance. I support this local business regularly.

KKDs is a staple for any college student, or really anyone at all. I've been getting delicious sandwiches here for the better part of a decade now and the service and staff are absolutely always on point. On our last visit we drove 2.5 hours from Brattleboro, VT just to get a sandwich here. It's really the best place around.

Haven't been here in 11 years, and it was my FIRST stop when I got to town.

always great food, so glad this was the first place i went to when getting everyone eats. everyone is so nice and welcoming. i honestly appreciate kountry kart deli being apart of the everyone eats program and making sure people don't go hungry, only complaint ive ever had is how far the walk is, but it's always worth it!

Get a ride and shiner or any breakfast sandwich and you won’t be disappointed. They do all the classic sandwiches very well.

If you know you know... This place has been a staple for locals from the start of the day (breakfast) to the end of the night. (Drunken nights especially hits the spot) try the Mahoney with garlic mayo or the Philly with garlic mayo 🔥👌 friendly staff and always an experience. Good place to chat or make new friends as you wait for your food.

When I visit Burlington, this is always a must stop place. Its a small little deli, that offers a large variety of foods that are actually good. They have some crazy hours, 6:00 am to 3:30 am. So, you can get some food almost 24/7 from here. It is a short walk from pretty much anywhere in downtown Burlington.
I haven't had everything on the menu, but you can't go wrong with the Risers and Shiners. My favorite items is actually the Buffalo Chicken Chef Salad. It is packed with veggies and deli meats, and the buffalo sauce is really good. They also have a huge selection of drinks, basically a wall of fridges filled with all kinds of drinks. And they have a good selection of chips and freshly baked goods.

Amazing food to be honest. Ordered from here yesterday for the first time. 2 Vermonters and 2 large fries. It's always hard finding a place that my gram likes because she is too picky, but she couldn't stop saying good things about the burgers and the fries reminded her of her younger days going to Al's. The burger I had was perfect and the fries were great as well. Highly recommend stopping here and look forward to stopping in and grabbing another burger myself.

When the locals say this is a must stop, it’s the truth! They have such a wide range of subs and sandwiches. Just one of those places that remind you of home and serve really really good quality food.
