Very cool. Historic town area with shopping, restaurants, bars, and a wide outdoor brick lined mall.

A perfect place to walk around during the summer. There's not a lot of shops, but they are quite unique. Plenty of parking space at a cheap price. Even if it's touristy, it's very clean and not too expensive. We had a great time eating on the terrace while drinking a cold beer. Live music was playing nearby which added to the great atmosphere.

Great place to shop downtown Burlington. Most of the shops are local and independent but there are a few bigger chain stores. I like that the street is closed to any vehicle traffic other than a few places they cross. The other nice feature is the area being smoke free and no skateboarding or bike riding is permitted in the marketplace.

Church street has plenty of restaurants, boutiques, choclatier, arts & craft stores. You can stroll from one end to another and loop alll the way to water front and back. It's near to University of Vermont campus, u can spend easily couple of hours on a bright sunny day.

Church Street Marketplace is a bustling hub of activity. The variety of shops and restaurants cater to all tastes, from upscale boutiques to casual eateries. It's a vibrant place, always buzzing with locals and tourists alike. However, during peak times, it can get a bit crowded, and finding parking can be a challenge. Despite this, the charming atmosphere, street performers, and diverse offerings make it a must-visit destination. It's a snapshot of the community, capturing the essence of the city's energy and creativity.

Well this is a one of a kind pedestrian market place that was designed by the late Bill Truex. It was originally made for traffic believe it or not. I always say "Burlington VT is better than cable" if you're bored you can shop, eat, mingle with the locals, have a pint at the pub, there's lots of good things to do on Church St. It seems there's always something going on downtown. There's construction happening, but no worries that's good.

This area is so cool. I had no idea it existed until a friend showed me around. So many cool shops and cafes its crazy. If you're in town this is a must see. On the flip side I'm from Wisconsin... does nobody in this state have air conditioning?

Church Street Marketplace is an open market place about three blocks long starting from Main Street. It is a street that was blocked and for pedestrians only. Church Street is lined up with shops and restaurants along with Burlington VT City Hall. We were there during the Festival of the Fools and we don't know why it's called it like that 😂 There were various street performers who came from all over the country to perform on that day. We had a great time, and it's a great experience.

We just caught the end of the day here while walking to dinner. It is in a nice plaza next to a small park. The area is full of restaurants and shops so lots to see and do nearby. I was surprised to see vendors standing outside in temps well below zero but they must do enough business to suffer the exposure. It is nicely sited and open for casual walking and shopping, adds ambiance to a pleasant city.

I love the vibe here! There was every type of shop, live music, and fun for the single traveler and family alike. There are great pictures to take and it is a short walk to the Lake Champlain shore for a great sunset.

Nice little walk with lots of shops and a few places to eat or drink. It's worth a stroll down the strip if you're in the area. I would come back when it's warm out and probably more lively.

This is one of my favorite places that I visited on a fall trip. Picturesque, clean, friendly people all around in every shop I visited. Well done, Vermont, you became one of my favorite states for those reasons! 👏🏻❤ Browsing this area is peaceful and there is much to do. There are various options for food, but I would recommend the Skinny Pancake!!!! Their crepes and coffee are a must! There are various places for souvenirs for all types of wants. You can find clothing, ornaments, jewelry, and many other unique things to take back home. I chose some ornaments, chocolate and jewelry. I loved looking at the murals displayed around town. You definitely get a sense of welcome as you are walking around this market place. The best time to visit is the middle of the day during the week when it is less crowded. A great way to wind the day down would be to visit one of the many breweries for a delicious drink. There are many to choose from! If you aren’t sure, there is always someone happy to offer you a suggestion. Coming here at sunset to see the views on the water are also a must do in the area. They have great big swings to relax in as the day is coming to a close! ❤🍁

I always enjoy walking along church street…good for restaurants, lunch, clothes, gift shops…just occasionally difficult to park. On my last visit lots of stores have closed since my last visit 5 years ago and that includes also a big parking lot unfortunately.

If you’re visiting downtown @BTV, this is a must see spot. It’s like Main Street of every small town you’ll visit, with lots of cute boutiques and food options. You’ll also find public events and a live music. During peak season I recommend making a Resy reservation if you don’t want to wait forever to be seated.

Great pedestrianized road. Tons of cool shops and eateries. We stopped in at a lot of places and there was so much to look at. No cars, lots of walking room. We stopped to watch a magic show and listen to some music. Wonderful on a Saturday afternoon.

Church Street is the place to be when visiting Burlington. It's a wonderful stretch of shops and restaurants with every single one having something to offer. Don't forget to walk down the side streets as everything isn't on the main strip though! Enjoy!

A bit of an art deco inspired dream, the main throughway of Burlington, VT offers loads of privately-owned shops that cater to almost every desire. From fashions to ice cream to pubs and eateries. Live music plays here quite frequently and can be heard droning up and down the street. There are usually many people during the busy hours, but not enough to feel uncomfortable. One end of the street hold the beautiful church the street is so named for, while the other end holds the main government buildings. There is a slope to it when you head toward the government side of things, but not terribly bad, even for a big guy with crotchety knees. But the art is mainly why I enjoyed it so much, as much of it is inspired and inspiring. While in Burlington, you'd be remiss if you didn't visit this amazing place!

The street is bustling with good crowd and cheer especially in summer time. Plenty restaurants to dine in and the church at the end of the street is hard not to miss as the icon of Burlington.
