O.C. Power Solutions

A few days ago, a friend stumbled over to me at the local coffee shop, bleary-eyed from lack of sleep. For three nights running, her hard-wired smoke detectors had woken her up at two or three a.m. She had changed every battery, tried every reset, but nothing worked.

"Do you know a good electrician?" she asked, slurring her words.

I knew just the guy. I have never used Alex's services directly, but we have talked about his work and clients extensively, and he clearly knows his stuff, plus he is super responsive and responsible. So I zapped Alex a quick email, telling him a friend had an electrical emergency of sorts. Within five minutes he was on the phone with her, setting up a house call that afternoon. Turns out her detectors were all expired, so Alex quickly changed them up and my friend finally got a good night's sleep. And she has been gushing about his prompt, attentive, professional service every since. A-plus, Alex!

We have used OC Power Solutions for many projects, big and small.
They were extremely helpful in planning and installing all the electrical for our new garage. They were thorough in explaining the process and timing on our project. They coordinated very well with Green Mountain Power, the excavator and the carpenters to make sure that there were no delays.
They also installed a WiFi thermostat, security camera and many other small jobs in our present home. Alex & Erin do an amazing job coordinating around our schedule. They are always on time and always on budget.
We will definitely be using them this summer when we build our new house.

Alex is probably one of the best and most accessible electricians I can think of. We had a lighting issue with old lighting that was really old -- they didn't even make the bulbs any more. Alex replaced them with something newer, more efficient and they look great. He was fast, efficient and completed the job without me having to follow up! Awesome Job!

Alex has done several projects for us over the past couple years. He is professional, knowledgeable, and the work is done on time and on budget. We also recommend him to many folks who call us for referrals and do so without hesitation.

Alex is a hard worker we had him do all 12 units in our new 12 unit apartment building here in Williamstown vt and his price was fair and his work was spot on, passing all state inspections . we were able build and complete the project months ahead of schedule and rent all units..

Made the mistake of believing reviews that are 3 and 4 years old. OC Power Solutions does NOT get back to you. We’ve called twice in the last four days and left messages, but no return call, despite his business listing as ‘Open 24 hours’.

Typical contractor. Agreed to do a job, didn't finish. Punchlist had to be finished by another contractor. Found out stove wasn't broke, just wired incorrectly. So had to open sheetrock to fix. Travel wire in multiple locations wired incorrectly. Did follow detailed on plans. Great out of the gate, can't close it out.
