We went early on a Friday and there wasn't a wait, but if you go in the evening there often is a long line.
Reasonable prices for the amazing ice cream. It's fun for all ages, and there is a playground walking distance for kids to run off the sugar.
We got the Nuts sunday and the special Monster Cookie Sunday, and the monster cookie milkshake all were delicious!

Living in Michigan it had been almost 15 years since I was here last. As soon as I had the ice cream and food it reminded me of so many good memories I shared with my grandparents all those years ago. If you’re questioning whether to get some ice cream or some burgers look no further. This place has it! Every road trip I take this place will be a stop for sure :)

The Jigger Shop is such a beautiful place! Despite the crowds of people, they serve delicious icecream and have good customer service. We waited 40 minutes in line, but they did great at keeping the line moving!

How does something this wholesome exist? It's amazing, really chill, old timey vibes. Food is pretty good, but their ice cream is 👌 highly recommend taking a walk around the village too!

This unique little shop always delivers. Milkshakes - YUP! Real ice cream with a milkshake machine.
Sandwiches - YUP! Pulled pork cheese steak yummmm. Stop by before the noontime rush to ensure you get a table in the shade.

There is no place quite like the Jigger Shop. While the prices are a little on the higher end, you are paying for the historic atmosphere and quiet serene that the Mount Gretna Forest has to offer. The ice cream specialties are so fun to watch being created. It's a rare place that makes you feel like you stepped back in time and makes you slow down, enjoy, and relax. It gets quite busy in the summer so be prepared to wait if you go during peak hours.

Great place for dinner and ice cream. The flounder sandwich was very good and so was the crabcake Caesar salad. What is pictured is the cookie monster sundae.

💥💥💥. A must visit while in Mount Gretna! This place is a classic. Don't even dare to go in and order just vanilla! They offer the most amazing sundaes! You have to try one. I have had almost all. Today I chose death by chocolate! Brownie, chocolate ice cream, chocolate whipped topping, chocolate sprinkles!!!!! In addition they offer a food menu! Enjoy outdoor seating on their deck! Afterwards take a stroll to the fairy garden

This is a really nice Ice Cream Shop. It is about cones, but really it is about glorious sundays packed with just about anything tasty you can imagine. Servings are rather large. Big time family environments. They have several single room bathrooms, so don't wait cause it can get crowded. Weekends in the summer there is a bit of a line to get served. Lots of seating. Nice place set in the woods... What can be better.

After swimming nearby, I stopped by with my boys to get some ice cream. It was amazing. Next time I'm there, I'm getting a root beer float!

Ice cream is always on point here! The whipped cream is killer and options are many. We make a point to hit this every summer. It’s tradition!

Incredible antiques, old books, crafts and old Mount Gretna souvenirs! The gracious owner is helpful; we had a lovely discussion. I know we will go back to this interesting shop under the trees by Mount Gretna lake! Beautiful area!

You can expect the following: friendly staff, clean restaurant, delicious food, even more delicious ice creams and sundaes, a beautiful ambiance and reasonable prices. What you see in the picture is their baked alaska🤤🤤 i had to share this because I couldn't finish it. Otherwise the Jigger shop is definitely a great family & pet friendly place to eat.
