Happy Garden

I was planning to throw a party for my daughter and there’s no Chinese restaurant close by that would deliver to our location other than Happy Garden in Whitehall. We’re in Bethlehem. I was concerned that the delivery would be on time, or the food would be any good….We had over 70 friends that showed up at the party yesterday. Everyone of them was raving about the food, how delicious and fresh the food were. They enjoyed the food very much, some of them even got seconds and thirds….. They asked me where I got the food. For the record, we ordered: spring rolls, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, shrimp and mixed vegetables, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, vegetable lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice and of course plain white rice… all of them arrived hot, labeled and with super generous portions. We had tons of leftovers and some of our friends took them home for dinner. We definitely will be ordering from Happy Garden again. We couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Wai for making everyone happy with the luncheon.

My family became customers at Happy Garden when I was very young, living in Coplay. Even now that I am 40 years old, no longer living close by, I drive nearly 20 minutes out of my way just to get my Chinese take out from here.
When I would go out of state to visit family and we would order Chinese food, I never liked it, simply because it was not as good as Happy Garden.
I remember one time, years ago, they sold this small tea cup in a box. I still have it. I cherish it.I wish I had more to make a set.
I am very picky with my Chinese food. I'm a girl who has always loved and respected Chinese culture, I lived in Beijing for 3 years to learn the language and study Chinese culture more. Although Chinese American takeout is a far cry from the authentic food I ate in Mainland China, Happy Garden has items on the menu that seriously remind me of my time there.

I can only say thank you for having such an influence.

Always good food, hot and fresh. Usually very fast as well. No inside seating, it is to go only.

Ordered dinner for pickup- the first Chinese restaurant both my girlfriend and I could agree on.
The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The fantail shrimp we’re large and not overly greasy. The chicken sticks were on point. Sweet and sour chicken was delicious. First time in awhile I’ve order shrimp and vegetables and gotten more then 1-2 shrimp. The sauce was not overly salty and the veggies were full of flavor. This is now my go to spot in Lehigh valley for Chinese food. I would highly recommend Happy Garden.

Ever since Covid arrived in the spring and we ramped up the number of times we order take out versus dine in, Happy Garden has consistently been amazing! Every dish is fresh, hot and made perfectly. They have a safe and clean payment process and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive. This is the best Chinese food in Whitehall, period.

Delicious food and quick service too. The bbq boneless spareribs are tender and not at all greasy.
The steamed veggies are crisp and juicy at the same time. Yum! I'll be back again. Carry out only.

When ever in the mood for Chinese I go here. Have never had any illness suspected from their food. They are very friendly and accommodating...they will add/remove any item in the advertised menu, pretty much made to order. I have been coming here for about 18 yrs.

Best Chinese food around, I go there all the time, vegetables are always fresh, food is always hot , prices are really good. The people are friendly and I have never had a bad experience there, and I go there often.

My go-to Chinese food take-out place in Whitehall. There are not many places offering the type of hot, nutritious meals packed with vegetables and delicious flavors that you get at Happy Garden. Fast pick ups and courteous deliveries. Vegetables are cooked just right and there is plenty of protein in there as well. Always great, hot and delicious. Hungry just thinking about HG. YUM!

Their food is really good! I have ordered a variety of food numerous times and have only been disappointed once (the crab ragoon didn't taste great). Service and accuracy of order have always been on point. There are not many Chinese restaurants in this area, but I have to say they serve the best food around.

Happy Garden is fantastic. The prices are low, the food is great, and the staff are very friendly. I recommend ordering take-out as the restaurant itself only has one table for dining-in.

Our "go to" spot for delivery. Food is always consistent and good. Never had a complaint.

This place is amazing they are very fast and friendly I've been here four times about and have never seen them be rude, the place is clean as well and you can even see the whole kitchen and how they make your food which is also very tasty reminded me of new York.

I have been patronizing this place for 19 years. I NEVER had a bad experience or bad food. Food was always hot delicious and a nice sized portion.

It was my first time there, got there about 20 min til closing and I was greeted with a smile :) the food was delicious. We found our new Chinese restaurant!
