Forge Road Self Storage

We have been renting this storage unit since May and we have not had any issues at all. The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating and willing to help when needed. The unit is very clean and well maintained. We have had no problems getting in and out of the electronic gating. Would definitely recommend

I have been renting units from Forge Road Self Storage for five years now and have had nothing but a positive experience. The front desk woman is such a pleasant soul and always so helpful and personable. I will continue to rent from them for as long as I need to.

Forge Road Self Storage is clean, well-maintained and has exceptional customer service. Electronic gating system is reliable and the property is well-kept. Definite 5-Star rating!

I've been renting a unit here for about 2 years now. We have never had any issues with staff or the cleanliness of our climate controlled unit. I share a unit with my parents since we both needed storage and sharing is more cost effective. When we needed to move to a larger unit, the woman who runs the office was very accommodating and held a unit until the next evening when I could come in and sign paperwork. Definitely no complaints here. I would recommend them.

I found the facility to be very clean and well cared for the front staff were very helpful and polite. When I realized my unit would be to small after I had it the front desk girl was very helpful allowing me to have a larger unit. I would use this facility again. Very good experience.

It is sometimes very difficult to get someone to answer the phone, otherwise it's an ok place, not terribly expensive

I am renting a small unit . I had direct deposit and got charged a late fee . They did return me the late fee . This time I was not sent an invoice I wanted to make sure They did not charge me . When I called I got a late fee on the 6th . The unit is $46.00 , the late fee is $25.00 . Lots of dead lantern bugs in the unit .They are nice people except when it comes to billing . I do not know what to say ....If you go direct deposit your late $25.00 . You get direct deposit so you are not late ...go figure . Every time I go to my unit I am followed .

I would give a zero (0) stars ⭐ if possible. I moved here August 2017($$$$). I have rented from from Forge Storage since then, always paying as soon as I get my emailed bill. I mistakenly deleted my email, was locked out of access in/out and also my storage unit had a lock they had added to it. My son was over to get me things out, when I realized my unit had been locked. So I immediately paid for my unit. I called, no answer as usual! So I left message. Meanwhile my son returned without my things. Later I get a call from a women whom didn’t introduce herself, although was rude, and hung the phone up on me. Needless to say as soon as I put a unit in the rear of my home I’ll be out of this place called a business.

I highly recommend NOT using this facility if you care about your belongings. I rented a climate controlled CLEAN unit in April 2018 to store furniture, electronics, kitchen appliances, clothing & other personal belongings for my father. As of early December the unit was still clean. On Jan 16, 2019. I visited the unit again to store holiday decorations. The entire contents of the unit were covered in cement dust and a heavy musty smell was present upon opening the unit door. I reported this to the clerk and was told the HVAC system was accidently kept on while their cement floor was being repaired and the dust entered the climate controlled units. I asked to speak with the manager and was refused contact info for "him". Instead I was asked to send an e-mail to the facility and the "clerk" I was speaking with would forward my complaint to the manager for me. I did that and asked for some form of compensation for the cleanup I will have to do because if their neglect. About 2 weeks later this same "clerk" told me that they are not responsible for any damages to contents or the condition of the unit nor will they give me compensation of any kind. I insisted on speaking to the manager personally and was told that is impossible. What kind of business refuses communication with a manager?? This is most upsetting. I vacated the unit by the end of February. Now I found out that the "clerk" I have been talking with about the whole situation is indeed the "facility manager". Had I read the business card I would have known it since her name is on the card. Very poor ethical business standards and complete disregard for the property of the tenents supporting this business. I will warn anyone who uses this facility to read the fine print on the back of your contract and check your belingings regularly. You will NOT be notified of any negligence or damage to you contents when something like this happens. Better yet - do not rent space here.

If I could give zero stars I would. My mother passed and they have been nothing but unhelpful. Go elsewhere if you want to deal with someone with compassion and care. All the care about this their money.
