Since first meeting Dave Rutter a few years ago, XL Home Improvements has been our one and only call for all of our home roofing, siding and gutter repairs. Dave is very responsive, professional and courteous, and we are always pleased with his work. After trying many other roofing companies, it was a relief to find someone with such high integrity who we could rely on. I highly recommend XL Home Improvements.

We are so glad that we called that found Dave to do a complete rip and replace our roof. He has the professionalism and many years of experience we were looking for and has fair pricing and what he quotes is what you pay. Not some big company where you're just the number on the invoice. He did a fantastic job! W also needed some small repair projects with capping etc. that he did so no job too small.

I already recommend him to friends and wouldn't consider anyone else.

Could not be happier with my experience with XL Home Improvements! Extremely knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and most importantly, realistic. It's rare to find a business such as this one that is not trying to find reasons to charge you and is honest about an issue needing repair now or in the future. Will be using them for all future roof or other home repairs!

They came out and looked at our slate roof. We just bought our house less than a year ago and they came and told us what it looked like replaced 2 slate peices.They are very reasonably priced. I am going to use them again this summer to come out and check out my roof again for yearly maintenance and for many more years ahead!

Called them Monday morning, came out to assess damage to our gutter/flashings Tuesday, repair completed Wednesday. Couldn't be happier. Reasonable price, no nonsense, friendly service. Thanks so much for the painless experience!

XL Home Improvements has helped me with all of my exterior needs on my properties for years. They recently replaced my shingle roof and siding on my house and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. If you’re looking for a professional, clean, very skilled team, you’ve found them. They are the best!

What a fantastic company to work with - I am so pleased. Even though the location of my home presented some challenges to Dave and his crew, which they successfully managed, they were prompt, efficient and professional. My new roof looks wonderful and they left the area around my home neat and clean. It is so good to find companies that still value great work at a fair price. I know I couldn’t have had a better experience.

After weather coating a flat-roof on my mother's house in November 2018, (maintenance which typically lasts 5 years), the coating began peeling off with the wind after a few months. When she started noticing the peeling, she called to have it repaired. Someone came out to assess the damage and told her they would be back to fix it. There has been no communication since. She has attempted to call and left multiple messages with no reply. I'm not out to ruin someone's business, but I believe this deserves some reconciling.

(6/1/2020)Update: He came out today to fix the peeling roof. The repair looks good. We will continue to monitor.

Poor communication, work was done with only one requested adjustment which he ignored, and then he disappeared.
