*Takeout Review*

Prior to Covid, couple of coworkers and myself would visit Sushiwa quite often for lunch, since it is close by.

Hadn't been in for awhile, the place looks quite nice with the new renovation. I was in the area and decided to stop by and order one of my favorites (Spicy Chicken Bento box). Although the restaurant changed, the original flavor hasn't.

Bento box contains: Small salad, Spring roll, fried dumpling, Rice and Spicy chicken. and a side of Miso soup.

Most Japanese restaurants that I have come across have the generic Bento box options (Such as Teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef, tempura shrimp). Sushiwa is the only restaurant that offers Spicy Chicken.

Highly recommend trying if you're in the area.

First time here, nice staff clean place! The food presentation was amazing. Prices were reasonable and for a good amount of food.

Very fresh! Sushi was delicious. Place seems to go unnoticed in the shopping center here. It's very nice inside and the staff are friendly as well. Prices are good, rolls are full size. Definitely recommend trying it if you are nearby.

I absolutely love this place! My daughter and I order from there at least once a month. The staff members are really kind and polite. Prices are very reasonable!

While I have not been there recently since I do not work in the area anymore, the many times I have been there were excellent. One of my all time top three sushi restaurants. Always fresh and well prepared, usually have several hard to get fish from Japan and Hawaii. Go to spot for sushi foodies.

The sushi here is great. I absolutely loved it. There lunch special is more than enough. It is a bit small on the inside for dinning in but if you get there early or don't mind the wait it's great. But if you do mind takeout might be a better option for you.

I want to update my review - Sushiwa is without a doubt the highest quality sushi in our area. Their fish is so fresh, so consistent, and so good. I love sushi of all types, but I truly appreciate a place that can serve the highest quality simple sushi such as just salmon on rice and have it be unmatched. The chefs and staff know what they're doing. They recognize me and greet me warmly when I come in. And they serve the best and freshest sushi in the area. If you want a deep fried lobster mac and cream cheese roll, i'm sure any place is fine, but if you want really fresh fish, sushi rice, wasabi, soy of the highest quality - Sushiwa is the place to get it. Love you guys.

Amazing lunch specials!! You get so much for such a good price. I always get the Tofu Teriyaki Bento box and it is divine (includes tofu teriyaki, rice, 4 piece California roll, 2 dumplings, 1 spring roll, salad, and miso soup). Doesn't get better than this! Service is fast and friendly. I always take out, but the inside of the restaurant is very nice from what I can see. One of my go to lunch spots!!

Great place! Got food quick and it was tasty and fresh! Nice staff and very comforting inside. If your looking for a sushi places come here!

My fiance and I eat here often even though its not very close to our home. The sushi is great and the service is even better. If you like a cozy spot with fresh sushi and friendly staff i would definitely recommend this over Ooka. Both have good food but Sushiwa has great service & food.

The best Japanese food I’ve had in years. You really can’t do any better in the area, especially not for the good prices offered here. I will definitely be ordering again soon!

We think it is the best sushi in phila area. Better than many center city spots. Sushi is always fresh and delicious. Rolls are fantastic. This is a must go to if you love sushi.

This is the only place in the area with sushi that's fresh and worth eating. Tuna here is awesome and service is fantastic. I'm glad we have at least one good sushi spot here.

I have been to every Japanese/Asian restaurant in the area multiple times, but this is by far the most outstanding. The food is extraordinary. I would eat here every day for the rest of my life.

Cozy sushi restaurant with a huge selection of rolls. All of them are excellent. No alcohol is sold there so you can BYOB. Must visit.

One of the best sushi places if not the best I've visited. Not a very large place but it is very clean, offers a nice ambiance and the best sushi around here.
