Stonewood Village Townhomes

The only thing nice about this neighborhood is the sidewalks and large grassy areas for my daughter to play. The homes are small, everything is outdated, and the management is horrible. This year I recieved my rent renewal 2 days before it was due! Rent went up as always AND I was forced to find renters insurance all within 2 days. If anything needs fixed in the house I wait days for someone to even come take a look. They'll do a quick fix and tell me it doesn't need replaced. The dishwasher leaves residue, the bath tub leaks, the light in the kitchen flickers. The list goes on and on. They even advertise a tennis court which isn't true and the pool here keeps opening later and later each year. Management is absolutely unprofessional. It was an okay place when I moved in at 20 years old but for any real adult, especially families, I highly suggest looking elsewhere. It is not worth the money or hassle.

I have a friend that lived there and I spent enough time there to realize the friend was
getting ripped off.
The rent is in my opinion too much for what
you get. No cover for the back patio.
First thing I noticed was how everything was
outdated.the rent was over $900 a month
plus you paid the water bill.( most places don't
do that).
The widows were old , no half bath on the first
floor. The floors on the second felt as if you would fall through, a lot of sound as you walked.
Read reviews before you think about moving there.The kitchen and bathroom floor were absolutely old tile. Need to be stripped and redone. And ugly.
If your able to pay that much .... Go somewhere else.

I have been here 5 plus years. The rent was always a little high. But it was quite and never had any theft or problems with neighbors. The grounds are nice. But he house is in rough shape. And now new management is way over charging and raise new fees every year. They put bandaid on things and charge you for new amenities. Would not recommend ever.

I would save your money and move to somewhere better. The management is a joke. Your neighbors do drugs. They take section 8 so that's another issue. You pay over 950 for something that's outdated. The lawn isn't maintained unless you call the township. The pool is never opened and completely disgusting If it is opened. Save your money and time and buy a house!

Place is literally the worst, and the people you have to deal with if anything is wrong or needs done is a joke.
day ONE half the house was not ready and the half of it had also not been cleaned yet, we were given a move in date, of which we start paying for the place, we were told they were rushed and didn't have enough time?!
starting from the outside going in, from the ghetto lights set up outside in the parking lots that work half the time and the other half its pitch dark to the falling off the wall paint, wood, sidewalks, and shutters..and amazon like landscapping that go along the front of the houses.
something break in your house or need fixed from being in there for 30 years, don't worry just contact the front office and it'll be done within the next few months. moving in here was a mistake and we hate it

I worked for Eugene Curran who manages Stonewood Village Apartments (York,PA) & Torrey Place apartments (new bruanfels, TX). He is a terrible person to deal with. Incredibly selfish and never thinks of others. He basically is running a ponzi scheme as he does not pay vendors yet uses business funds to pay for his London vacations etc. He berates employees on a regular basis (calling them stupid/dumb). I was called dumb because I did not allow him to commit fraud! I left and have filed a complaint with department of labor for my last pay as he never paid me and even left me a threatening voicemail stating he would not pay me. Tenants do not expect anything to be done to compensate you in an event of a disaster or damage. Vendors do not expect payment. The only reason he has these properties is so that the rent money can pay for his lifestyle. He claims to know so much yet can not read financial statements which he demanded by the 15th of each month. This man has an English degree and absolutely zero real estate experience (other than scamming people), zero business knowledge (other than how to manipulate the system), zero knowledge on how to run/manage properties and all in all is a terrible human being!
