Codorus State Park

This is one of our favorite parks to go. Love the boat ride there. You have to call before you go for boat reservation. Also good for a little picnic. The natural beauty is amazing. Lots of birds & ducks there. Very serine.

Great disc golf course, use Udisc to find your way around. Played the blue and red courses, both are fun in their own way. Only hole I didn't like was on the red course because it is basically an island in the middle of a parking lot. We played early right after Christmas so the lot was empty, which was good because I would have drilled a couple of cars otherwise. Would absolutely skip that hole on a busy day and would consider moving it since they had room elsewhere.

This state park is really beautiful. The water is so clear. The day that I was there, it was extremely foggy out, making it difficult to see far across the lake. I plan to go back more times to fish and picnic with my wife.

Stayed in site 88 and loved it. Very spacious. Friends and family were in surrounding sites, so we basically had the whole corner to ourselves. Flat and wide. Well shaded with tall trees, but little brambles and underbrush allowed plenty of space for tents. Bathhouse was well maintained and heated. Only stayed for a weekend and spent that time relaxing at camp (just the way I like it), so did not get to explore the rest of the park more unfortunately.

Wife and I kayaked here yesterday. Absolutely gorgeous! There are a lot of places to put in at the lake. The water was nice and there was a breeze. I also did some fishing. If you use the right tackle, you could catch a good bit of fish. Fyi: Being that it is a big lake, it was a little choppy, so be prepared if you venture into the deeper parts. If you kayak the edges, you should have a smoother ride. This is definitely on our top spots to kayak and for me to fish. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous park! Beautiful views all over. We visited to play on the Disc Golf courses, and they were alot of fun! It was a really pretty park to explore, and the well spaced, very clean and well stocked bathrooms were a delightful surprise! I really enjoyed the Red course, fun wooded parts and some right by the water too. We will definitely be back to visit again.

We stayed in tent only camping site near lake. Kids and family enjoy the camping and afternoon in water park. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to spend summer close to nature. It’s kids friendly camping site and lots to do and see.

I camped here for a night just the other day and it was very beautiful! I also did a lot of fishing and was able to catch lots of bass! It’s definitely a great spot to go fishing and the campsite was very clean when we got I got there. I would definitely recommend camping/fishing here!!

This is a gem for Hanover and surrounding areas. I come here from Baltimore to kayak. There are so many areas to explore, plenty of parking and picnic areas, it's clean, peaceful, and beautiful. You can't swim but can get in up to your knees. There is a pool you can go to if you want to swim.

Great camping experience lot to do big lake for boating and fishing.ok camp spots . Nice big pool with water slides l would recommend

Great hiking trail. It is not leveled btw. Apps say it is. There are a few places I'd consider steep. Went last minute, not prepared for a hike. Worre flats and we were fine. Went with two 5 year olds and we are put of shape. It was fine. Was a 2.7 mile hike for the trail. It loops so we didn't have to double back. We parked for the trail. There are about 8 spots to park where we did and got lucky around 3 we used the last spot.

The park is a very large and beautiful park with so many activities to do with yourself or family and friends. On this stay we rented a Yurt inside of the camp grounds. The Yurt was a neat experience, it's in between a tent and a cabin. Had a refrigerator, counter top stove and microwave. It also sleeps up to 5 people. Had an amazing time and will be back to stay again.

Beautiful clean park, free entrance and numerous opportunities for enjoyment. Disc golf, fishing, hiking at Laho trail, picnicking, camping, rentals for paddle boats, kayak, pontoon boats, biking or walking along the winding roads. Not sure if the swimming pool is open after the pandemic. Been a regular visitor and it’s always a wonderful experience. Read that the park has other programs they offer year round. We’ll definitely check them out…

I have gone to check it out, and i have not stayed but am planning to. It has a beautiful view. When camping, they will tell you what the best spots are. Clean, quiet, and amazing.

Absolutely beautiful, one of the best State Parks I've ever visited. Extremely clean and full of beautiful views at every turn!! I would definitely recommend this location for a relaxing day with the family.... “There’s nothing like a beautiful sunset to end a healthy day”.

This park was BEAUTIFUL ! Great for hiking, fishing, and enjoying nature ! Definitely coming back !

Beautiful, clean, with picnic tables, pavilion, band shell for local bands to perform in the summer. Horse trails in the woods, great for hiking along the lake! Bird watching area, benches for viewing. Restrooms available in certain areas, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, pontoons, small motorized boats allowed. No swimming in lake.
No lifeguards on duty.

We like hiking here , skipping rocks , renting boats and even going to the pool , best thing this state park has is the Halloween trick or treating at the campground love it

Beautiful park. Clean. Quiet. We loved it.

Beautiful park with nice hikes to and around the lake. Campsites are not particularly level, some are a little short for long campers. There are plenty of wheelchair accessible facilities and a pet loop at the campground.
