My daughter and I stayed in a cabin during September of 2023. I was pleasantly surprised to find a cooling system in the cabin, as the weather was still warm. My only complaint is that the beds are horribly uncomfortable. I hiked along the Lakeside trail during our stay and really enjoyed the lake views!

Great place to camp. Its affordable and they have full hook ups. They do have nature events where your kids can learn about nature from certified instructors.
Campground was neat, check in was easy, site was not very wide, but it was very long which also works.
The swimming lake in the campground is nice and large. The lake also has sand which is great for simulating a beach environment with out the undertow.
While their are dog restrictions in the campground, the state park portion and the day use area is different, Dogs are allowed everywhere.

It's a nice state park to walk, wasn't packed, the few people there were nice and the lady in the ranger station was real helpful in giving us areas to go for the best birding.

Me and my boyfriend had a BLAST! I'm typically iffy about kayaking on lakes but this was perfect! It wasn't shallow at all, the boat ramp was perfect to launch our kayaks && the weather was Beautiful. It was such perfect kayaking all around and we WILL be going back. GPS says it's 43 minutes from where I live so it's was so worth the drive.

Beautiful state park. Something to do for everyone here! Hiking, boating, wildlife, swimming, fishing, and cookouts, just to name a few! Also has a large campground and a Frisbee Golf course here too. There is plenty of parking available, even on a busy day. Always a day well spent at Pinchot!

Great trails around the lake! Some areas you can stop at the waters edge and enjoy the view of the lake.

So much to do here! We finally decided to visit Gifford Pinchot park and I'm so glad we did! This place is huge with something for everyone: RV & camping sites, cabins, seasonal snack bar, boat rentals of every kind, a well groomed swimming beach, large picnic area adjacent to a children's play area that comes complete with a sand box area that could easily hold several sand sculptures! Outside of this area are hiking and biking trails, fishing and birding opportunities and acres and acres of peaceful nature. (Although I did see signs warning of hunting...so maybe not peaceful ALL year?) Anyway, had a great time enjoying the fall foliage with our dog (Dogs are allowed on trails as long as they're leashed) and we will definitely be back!

Pinchot State Park is such a beautiful place! I love going there with my friends and taking a long walk by the lake. It's so peaceful and quiet. This is definitely a place you have to experience with loved ones, or if you need some personal time. This is a great place to collect your thoughts. Also, if you love photography, this place is a must.

Went to Pa to pick up some used parts, along the way i saw the sign for a park I have never heard of so we went back to explore. What a fantastic park and setting!!!! Along my hike i saw yurt and cabin rentals, I will def be back for a waterfront yurt rental. Great place to bird watch and play disc golf

We have lived near and used the park extensively for nearly 30 years. The facilities and trails have gradually been improved, making for a nicer experience. There are non-powered boating, sailing, kayaking, fishing, camping, hiking, opportunities in a beautiful outdoor setting.

We love going here to take walks and fish. My kids also love the playgrounds. Summer time is good for swimming! Just watch when a lot of rain has gone through, sometimes swimming will be closed.

Lake Trail was gorgeous this week in January! A little muddy from the rain, but easy to maneuver around. Trails were well marked and very well maintained, fallen trees removed etc. Rocky in some places, so be prepared for hiking conditions, but trail is flat. Gorgeous lake views the whole way. Very easy to find Lake Trail from any parking lot and take it as far as you want. Tons of space for picnics etc in better weather. Love this park!

Great place to camp. Used to come here all the time when I was younger. Sites are pretty spacious, fire ring and hookups. Bathrooms are usually pretty clean. They have a lake that you can either swim or fish in. They have an amphitheater for programs and ranger talks. Also have a nice playground for kids

We stayed here for a week and prior to arrival I read some reviews that had me concerned, one mentioned not feeling safe and some mentioned mosquitoes. We felt very safe there and the mosquitoes are no worse than anywhere. It's a nice campground and we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful and very large campground with sites for everyone's preferences. Lovely lake that it's built around too.

We stayed for a weekend of camping 5.23.2021 in Lot 220. Park is well maintained! Bathhouses were in nice working condition and nice to use! Camp sites were a decent size, very welcoming and pleasant! The lake was also very enjoyable! We spent at least 10 hours out on our kayaks! Fishing was good :)

This was my first time here the walk was challenging because of the drizzle, however, the group made it interesting. The First Day Hike is a terrific experience to join in the fun of hiking. Now if I can get a better pair of hiking boots.

Really nice park! We arrived without a reservation on a Sunday night and they had a whole system in place for us to fill out a form and pay in an envelope at the entrance. There were lots of open sites. We got one right on the water! We went for a swim in the morning and the water was warm (although cloudy) and there’s a nice swimming area.
