The Painted Lemon CT

We had a lovely family dinner celebration. The service was exemplary and the food was amazing. The wine by the glass was very good (pinot noir, chianti, san genovese). Appetizers were large (could be an entree, we split them), and the mains were generous. Everyone took half of their dinner home. The daily specials really were special and the gorgonzola ravioli was very good. There was live music (we were right by the musicians) and it was very pleasant and not too loud.

What a gem! We stopped in for an early dinner and were delighted by the atmosphere, food, and attentive staff. They have an extensive menu with gluten-free options. I enjoyed the Fiochetti Pear and Gorgonzola immensely!

We've eaten at the Painted Lemon many times since they opened. The food has been outstanding, as we eat our way through the menu! Service has been consistently top-notch. Prices are reasonable and the portions are very generous. Well worth the trip.

What a nice place. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with smiles and treated like welcome guests.
The decor, the lighting, the bar, the food. Everything was wonderful and I'm looking forward to going back.

I stopped by recently with a friend on a bike ride. We sat outside and received excellent service. The summer drink specials were great. I ordered the Grilled Cesar Salad which was delicious. No complaints, The Painted Lemon is always a good go to.

Absolutely the best pasta I've had in my entire life. The service was phenomenal, the food arrive quickly and we had a fantastic time.
I wish I lived locally to be able to enjoy this restaurant often.

We recently had a family event at The Painted Lemon and it was beyond great in my expectations. Kimberly and Giovanni listened to what I wanted and they came through with flying colors. They were very considerate and wonderful hosts. The food was fabulous and there was not one complaint about any of it. Everyone loved it. Truly delicious. The facility is light, bright and welcoming. The staff was very professional, the service efficient and they aimed to please. I am eternally grateful to everyone at The Painted Lemon for helping to make our day memorable and tasty.

The food here is delicious, and the menu has plenty of choices for different moods without being overwhelming. My wife and I feel like we're adults eating sophisticated food, and my kids eat the food enthusiastically as well!

But hey, lots of places have good food. The reason we always think of this place when we're deciding where to eat/order from is because the staff are just outstanding. The customer service is truly exceptional. Tonight, the delivery.com delivery guy never showed up to pick up our food to bring, and someone from the restaurant got in her car to bring it to us. They always go the extra mile, and it's why this is our favorite Italian place, and, now that I think about it, favorite restaurant, in the area.

My 7 year old son wants me to add that, when you're done, the food leaves you full.

We enjoyed our experience at the Painted Lemon this evening. The food was delicious and wait staff were very friendly/attentive. The live musician was entertaining and created just the right atmosphere for table conversation. Definitely recommend!

In one word- wow! The food was excellent, the atmosphere most pleasant and the service unbelievable. Great pizza, mouth watering gnocchi, superb sea food. So let me ask; why go anywhere else?!

I am rarely blown away by a restaurant but after trying out this nearby gem for the first time last night I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner. It is very small but warm and inviting. You will need a reservation, especially for Friday/Saturday nights. There was good live music but at a volume that allowed casual conversation. Salads were very fresh. Scallop Fra Diavolo was out of this world and special ice cream dessert and cappuccino were great. We will be back soon!

Atheists- order the homemade tiramisu... take one bite... I guarantee your response is, “Oh God 🤭...”

My wife & I had dinner in their outdoor area. The food and service was worth every penny. They also have amazing desserts to finish your delicious meal off with. The prices are reasonable. We are definitely going to go back!!!

Fantástico Chef Giovanni with exceptional products and original raw material that arrives directly from Italy and offers American clients products as if they were visiting the Italian peninsula. Excellent offer in quality from appetizers to desserts in a very nice environment that makes one feel like family. My heartfelt congratulations to Giovanni, his wife and his staff, for sure we'll be back.

The Painted Lemon is a great find in Sherman. If you want great Italian food this is the place. You can get a great risotto with clams mussels and shrimp. Or if you are a pasta lover he makes a great fettuccine. Please make a reservation it gets busy on the weekends.

Delicious. We had the grilled calamari salad appetizer which was perfectly grilled and delicious. We had a very special main course which was spaghetti with a creamy cheese. The pasta is cooked in a light alfredo sauce then put inside a hollowed out giant wheel of grana padano cheese which is scraped so chunks of cheese coat the spaghetti. Very large portion. Plenty to share!

Delicious Italian food in a very cute location right in Sherman. Everything is delicious - but the highlights are the gnocchi sorrentino and the chicken parm which comes with an extra side of pasta. Very nice people, great service, delicious food - what more could you want?!

We love the cozy atmosphere and food here. Try the chicken Milanese. Very authentic! It is a huge serving and you will have leftovers. So happy that we are back to dining out!
