A very nice walk. Plenty of nature and some decent fishing if you are so inclined.

Parking was so easy i just whipped into a spot effortlessly

This is my favorite park nearby my GF's place. We drive all over to find great hiking in CT. Sometimes we just want to go someplace nearby though. This place is perfect. It's a mile or so loop around a very pretty lake. It seems well maintained. There are gorgeous rock that can be found jutting out into the water and a few large enough to sit on to just relax. I always see people fishing but never see anyone catch anything. I have found some mushrooms there but none I would eat.

Nice little park with ponds tow walk around. Many folks fish here, mostly for large mouth bass. There is an amazing variety of wildlife here. Could be cared for better by the town. Subway just did some trail maintenance recently. A lot of people walk dogs here, which is against city ordinance, but the area is not patrolled.

Nice pl!place! For short walk

Short walk around a couple of ponds. Fine birding area with various waterfowl in winter and many different species during migration. The parking area can get quite muddy after rain however.
