The CFO & Co-Director of Asset Management promised to install surveillance cameras this past summer. It’s now Jan. 2023 and still not installed! We recently came back from vacation and our alarm went off twice while we were away. The first time our cat sitter came over and the alarm was going off. A bedroom window at the side of our building was open. The second time we were notified by a neighbor and had maintenance disarm the alarm. We haven’t heard what the problem was. Maybe, if there were cameras we could see if there was someone trying to break in AGAIN! The President of Metro Property doesn’t respond to phone messages.
Another point of contention, Upper management at this company refused to notify residents of our break in last summer as well. They claim they didn’t want to alarm residents. If they were truly concerned about residents they would have informed them so they could take precautions like lock their doors and set their alarm. Instead they want to protect their property’s image!
BTW, several residents are still inquiring about your broken promise of installing cameras! There is a renewed interest after the shooting at SJU(Nov.22).

I was given a check for a returned deposit, mind you I had to give a cashiers check, they gave me a check that couldn’t be verified by my bank or wouldn’t be! The funds eventually were received by the bank I deposited it in! But it was flagged it was unverifiable meaning the phone number and address of 333 deming rd llc does not match metros phone number and address! three weeks later they refuse to give me a number to someone in accounting with half a brain, to get this taken care of, instead they keep transferring me back to Jill the manager who knows nothing about it! Thus causing tons of communication errors, meanwhile our accounts were closed due to fraudulent activity flagged on their end! Oh and it gets better now they can’t release the check to me it can only be handled with a harmless bank to bank transfer initiated by no one but the owner of the account for 333 deming rd llc. I can’t believe the idiots in this world today! They continue to not comprehend the problem and continually try to verify it under metro signers on account! We have to wait 30-60 days to get our funds from our checking account, they closed! we will never get the 400.00 deposit from our savings which was also closed, until this asinine company gets it! Not much faith in that! This scars our credit it is put in Chex system and causes a financial hardship to which none of it matters to metro.we are working with the attorney general and are looking for a lawyer for damages at this point.

This company owns and manages the apartment that I live in. A year ago my apartment was burglarized. I requested that this company finish securing our building. After many emails including a petition signed by some current residents upper management specifically the CFO agreed to partially finish securing our building. He emailed me, "I expect to have some resolution before the end of the month (July 2022)". A month later, August 1 he responds to my email, "We have it on the schedule…", "A little trickier than first expected". A bunch of vague excuses!
I've been advocating for an entire year! It should not be this difficult!
