I am deeply disappointed with my experience working at this company for the past year. The influx of new employees and the high turnover rate indicate that this is not a job that provides stability or a comfortable way of life. The entire place is chaotic and poorly managed, with one person in HR, who is not even the owner, exerting excessive control and invading the privacy of every worker. The constant surveillance and lack of trust make you feel violated and insecure in your own workplace.

Moreover, this HR person enforces arbitrary rules and penalizes employees for the smallest infractions, such as being a minute late almost by the very second. The owner, John, seems oblivious to these issues and does not address them. The work environment feels like a prison, with strict security measures and employees being treated as criminals or children. The company shows no accountability for how it treats its employees, and the pay does not justify the mistreatment.

The company's attitude towards employees is evident in their minimal compensation and lack of breaks. They claim to provide a paid 15-minute break, but it is not reflected in the paycheck. Many employees, including myself, have noticed discrepancies in their pay, suggesting that the company may not be paying people fairly. It is concerning that even agency workers are not properly compensated, which goes against the law in Connecticut. The company uses temp agencies to exploit employees and avoid legal responsibilities.

This is not a company where anyone should aspire to work unless you enjoy feeling trapped and voiceless while struggling financially. You would have better luck finding success and better pay at a fast-food establishment like Burger King or McDonald's. Additionally, the company justifies its unethical practices by referring to past incidents, which is unacceptable.

The lack of accessibility during emergencies is also alarming. Employees are not allowed to have their cell phones and are expected to be available at all times, but the company takes no responsibility if something happens to the phone or if a family member needs urgent contact. Emergencies can occur at any time, and this company expects maximum effort from its employees while providing minimal support.

The owner needs to take responsibility and understand that one HR person and one mechanic cannot be the sole authority figures in the company. The current power dynamics are unfair and will likely lead to legal consequences if reported to the labor department. Personally, I had to leave this company because I could not tolerate their oppressive and nonsensical rules any longer.

There are no benefits offered by this company, and the healthcare packages they provide are overpriced. It is absurd to be paid minimum wage in a warehouse or factory setting. Most importantly, the company does not respect its employees as human beings, let alone as valuable contributors to the company's success.

I urge anyone considering applying through this company or a temp agency associated with them to proceed with caution. ( the best thing that can happen for the ppl left in this place is to hope that there bad reputation and unethical business practices send them to full investigation and shut down , I have all ready been working with 4 employees two who were wrongly terminated and two young men who remain in the building setting to conduct a full ongoing report to the state of ct labor department and will be talking to others shortly I had endured a whole year of mistreatment and I will not tolerate this company to stay standing tall until I hear personally of some beneficial changes since this is my career path now in its self. Good luck everyone

Bought an isolated protein powder and it had an strange sawdust taste to it. Made me sick after two weeks on it. Didn't make it easy for me to return and only gave me a partial refund. Not recommended

Turns out this shady business is selling cheap maltodextrin mislabeled as waxy maize. There are reviews on amazon and elsewhere that will attest to this. I was foolish enough to ignore them, and now I'm stuck with 36 pounds, trying to get my money back.

There is currently a worldwide shortage of waxy maize due to droughts and the war in Ukraine, and there are no other sellers of this product. They are either exploiting the vacuum for personal gain with a counterfeit product thinking no one is smart enough to notice, or there is corruption in the supply chain. This is dangerous because it can send diabetics into shock. Waxy maize is popular among diabetics because it's a very slow digesting complex carb, whereas maltodextrin has an insanely high glycemic index which can be fatal to diabetics.

They've already been reported to the feds which should get this racket shut down soon, but word of this must be spread as it can potentially save lives in the meantime.

I've never tried any of their other products, but if this is any indication of their level of ethical constraint, then I'd be cautious or avoid them altogether.

Ripped me off. Product was fake. Tried returning it, but they said I had to pay return shipping which would cost as much as the product itself. Was forced to do a chargeback. Major hassle.

Went for an interview, the online posting lied about the wage by $5/hour and then when they offered me the job they wanted me to sign a contract that said they could fire me for no reason whatsoever but if i ever quit for any reason besides dying or them paying me below minimum wage, i would pay them back $50,000. Shady company, a good lesson to always read your contracts.
