Birdhouse Coffee

Found this gem. We tried the seasonal coffee. My husband got the pumpkin coffee and I got the maple coffee half the normal sweetness and we enjoyed it. We also tried the coconut raisin bundt cake. Yum! Nice casual atmosphere. It’s a cold and gloomy day but the outdoor sitting looked inviting. I could just imagine how nice it would have been when the leaves were turning color. Will go back. There’s a brewery beside it (same building) rates well too but it was before lunch and it wasn’t open for service yet. It provided a lot of sitting for its guests.

Peach Cobbler iced latte was great! The Brewer’s Plate was small but delicious, and my wife really enjoyed her avocado toast, although it was quite pricey compared to others we’ve had. Would definitely come back!

Edit: My family and I came back, and it still does not disappoint! The food is top-notch! The staff are passionate and will go alone and beyond to make the customer happy! The photo is the Breki Burrito-fully loaded.

The coffee was great! The pastries looked delicious, I will definitely be trying them next time I visit. The breakfast burrito was fully stuffed and tasted great.

Really enjoyed everything I had here. I came for the beer at CT Valley Brewing but was much more impressed with this little connected food & coffee shop.

Wow. If you’re looking for a great coffee shop, this is it. Try their regular coffee or signature drinks, either way you won’t be disappointed. The prices are better than Starbucks and every time the coffee is spot on. The pastry case is to die for, specifically the cheddar cheese and chive biscuits. I highly recommend checking out this local coffee shop.

Out of Towner looking for a place to get some work done for a few hours. Great atmosphere, good drinks, and reasonable prices. I got a muffin and a chai latte. The muffin was alright but the latte was very good! My only complaint is that getting to Birdhouse was a little confusing. I used Google maps for the address provided and thought it was the wrong location because there was a big sign for the brewing company (small sign underneath for Birdhouse coffee). I drove past it thinking I had the wrong address and almost didn't go all together. I am glad I turned back around and went bc this place is a gem!

I had a lavender latte, one of their seasonal lattes, loved it! They have nice sitting area where I was able to sit and get my work done. The best thing about them is that they stay open late! Will definitely go back.

Yum! Make your own Brekkie sandwich was perfectly made. Mine this time had egg over medium, avocado & bacon. Always delicious & quick ordering & pick up.

God, Bless this establishment!! Finally a place I can go to read and enjoy my time. The coffee here is simply amazing, everything I've tried from refreshments to Expresso(Most definitely worthy of the award they received for 2023 best coffee). Haven't had any of the food yet but from what they have ready in the lobby, it looks and sounds delicious. Not only is it an amazing place for Coffee but it's also a Brewing company so you can also enjoy an alcoholic beverage in the later hours of the day.(I don't drink so I don't know what exactly they have). Thank you Birdhouse Coffee for the amazing experience and absolutely friendly and courteous staff! Hands down my favorite place to go before and or after work and the weekends 😎!

Love love love this place! Their coffees are amazing, and the breakfast food is great too. Definitely the best local coffee spot around, I come here anytime I want to go out for breakfast. Friendly staff and cute interior too

Wonderful place to hang out and enjoy some good food and drink for the afternoon or to meet friends for a get together. The food is delicious and plentiful and reasonably priced. The coffees are, of course great as is the cider and beer on the brewery side.

Birdhouse Coffee is a an outstanding coffee shop! They craft some truly inventive flavors and offer a wide multitude of beverages, both hot and cold. We most recently had the Lavender White Chocolate Latte, which was a thoroughly enjoyable coffee! Service is attentive and friendly, and the decor is clean, cozy, and inviting.

My husband and I went around 5:00pm on a Saturday night and it wasn't crowded at all. There were plenty of seating. Coffee was delish! Friendly staff. We would go again!

I visited the coffee shop for the first time this weekend and had a wonderful first impression. It was quite busy, and the girl at the register looked relatively new. When I had asked her what she would recommend she didn’t have much input, but one of her coworkers, a tall girl with curly hair came to the rescue. The tall girl asked me what kind of drinks I liked and recommended me a wonderful drink based on my preferred flavor profile- a dirty chai with cinnamon and their signature cloud foam! She then was able to answer all of my questions about the bakery items and food. All this was done while she guided the new girl through the transaction quickly without making me wait a long time at the register. She then took it upon herself to make me the drink herself, as she said it was her favorite and made it all the time. It felt like I was having an interaction with an old friend! It was a wonderful interaction to be a part of and showed me what a kind and caring business I was giving my money to. I would highly recommend anyone to this wonderful environment of a business, with excellent food and excellent beverages. Not to mention, excellent employees!

Finally tried Birdhouse and left very happy! I tried the Campfire Latte and it was absolutely delicious. I’m sad I don’t have a photo of how pretty it was but I took one sip and couldn’t stop! The desserts and food menu look amazing but I haven’t tried them yet.

Great location, attached to Connecticut Valley Brewing. They have lots of events including car shows on Monday nights and Cars & Coffee on Sunday mornings. Both offer lots of classic/sports cars to see and are usually a great turn out! I would recommend these events for a date night or family outing! Check their website for dates and times.

Great spot !! Still haven’t tried the coffee but that’s my next move!! The fry flight and fried chicken sandwich were delicious ! Friendly staff :) will return here again

Fun place for a coffee with friends. Nice staff, quick service, bright and inviting spaces Inside and outside. Inside CT Valley Brewing. They also serve food during brew house hours. They give you a beeper while the prep your food.
