The room at the second floor was clean and cozy. The room was spacious. There were two queen beds for two of us.

Had a lovely little impromptu stay here. Capable staff clean rooms and easy walk to town. Great Halloween decorations too!

Across the street from shopping and food, and walkable, too. Desk attendant was helpful regarding where to order dinner.

Good location, great prices. Rooms could be updated but we’re clean. Water pressure in shower was great.

The people at the front desk are awesome but housekeeper very poor. I stay whole week an never housekeeping came into my room to clean, sanitizer, and everything else supposed to do every day. Also I think that they should have the free breakfast start at 5:30 am cause if people got to be at work at 6:00am don't get a chance to get breakfast.

This place was exactly what I needed. Affordable, a short drive from downtown, no issues with my room or checking in. And they mailed me my phone charger that I left behind. Zero complaints.

Wonderful staff and a great location. The front desk attendant was very attentive. The pool is perfectly warm and the go breakfast was a real treat. We walked to Al's fries and had ourselves a nice quick lunch. The maintenance guy was on top of thu gs and we enjoyed his attention when the faccet came loose.

Very nice staff, plenty of space in the rooms, and hot coffee 24/7. Very good prices as well as a nice pool and hot-tub. Breakfast could be better, as well as the rooms could use a little updating, but all in all a good place to stay on a budget.

We came from a far to Burlington and booked a room at Anchorage Inn because of an ad in a rest area guide for visiting Vermont in the winter. Everything in that ad was minimal in terms of our enjoyment from that great inn. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful in every way she could - including upgrading the room for free because we came with kids (Ola Chile!), the pool and room were clean and tidy, we had an abundance of everything we needed (towels, shampoo, soap, great coffee & tea etc...), the Jacuzzi was of high class and we could use it throughout the day, plus - all the guests were nice and happy. Our greatest surprise came in the morning - the rich continental buffet. Everything was displayed beautifully, was fresh (and kosher - except the yogurt) and in great quantity. I will definitely check in again next time i'm in Vermont.
Thanks for maximizing our enjoyment of the north!

We arrived in Burlington at 4:30 in the afternoon with no reservations. It just so happened to be the week all the college kids were arriving too so the city was really jumping. The Anchorage Inn was our second stop. They were $50 less than the Holiday Inn right down the road. We actually got the very last room available, which could have been worrisome but it was fine. Yes, the whole hotel needs updating. The carpet appears old and stained. The bath tub was a pastel blue and the entire bathroom was tiny. BUT, the room was very clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the sheets were snow white, spotlessly clean. There was actually a heavy blanket as well as the comforter on each bed which my husband and I loved. We like to sleep with the fan on but with nice heavy and cozy blankets. Too often in a hotel you get a sheet and one thin comforter. There was a microwave, a mini fridge, and a safe in the room as well as a new flat screen tv. The wi fi was good. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment. Despite being 100% full, the whole place was quiet and I slept very well.
As far as the European breakfast, this all depends on your point of view. I have stayed at a few places that have fantastic breakfast facilities with waffle makers, eggs, bacon etc., but most of the time, you get pretty much nothing. I stayed at a Holiday Inn recently for much more money and we got coffee made in a Keurig. No food. Many many times I have stayed at places with nothing but coffee or coffee and a few stale donuts. That was what I was expecting, but that's not what I got. The coffee was excellent, fresh brewed Green Mountain coffee. There was also tea, milk, and orange juice. There were apples and oranges, several types of donuts, several flavors of Yoplait yogurt and also several types of cereal, such as Total, Cheerios and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I had an orange, a donut, blueberry yogurt and two cups of coffee. That's all I need for breakfast so I was perfectly happy with that.
No, this place is not fancy, but for me, I would much rather save$50 and not have fancy art work on the lobby walls. It was everything I needed it to be, clean, comfortable and quiet with a very satisfactory breakfast.

Check In was fast and early, the workers are super nice. The breakfast is decent with many GOOD options such as Yogurt, Cereal, doughnuts, fruit, coffee, milk, and Orange Juice. The WiFi is free and covers most all of the property. The pool and hot tub are clean. Well worth the price, better than Motel 6.

Barebones hotel with a great free breakfast of donuts, coffee, tea, cereal and fresh oranges and apples. Hot tub and pool had a thin layer of grime on top so I didn't use it but it definitely seemed useable. Friendly and accommodating front desk people. Everything was very clean but extremely dated.

Clean spa and pool, it is definately an old building but there was nothing dirty, i never get why people gives bad reviews when there is no bugs or stain/hair. You pay 70$ a night, you have the cable with rick and morty, a comfortable bed, access to a hot tub and an indoor pool. Loved it!

Hotel is perfectly fine if you're looking for a place to stay for a night or two. Room was quiet and clean, and it's in a great location if you're trying to do the touristy thing in Burlington. What more can you really ask for? Shoutout to all the Karens in the comments for apparently expecting a five star experience for like, a hundred bucks a night.

Our client Diego Madreno is a touring musician and client of ours who recently stayed here while on tour with his band and loved the stay! The room was perfect, and the staff was very friendly (even after 2am!!) There was a nice kitchenette which was great to heat up some leftovers and sit down and eat in peace. There's also a free breakfast in the morning as well as an indoor pool to enjoy before checking out!

Staff was friendly, breakfast was prepackaged cereal and milk boxes but they had cinnamon toast crunch so I was good. The beds were comfy and the pool looked inviting, even though I didn't partake. It's right across the street from University mall (soon to be the location of Vermont's only Target) and right down the road from the college and Burlington's Lakeshore. A great location with friendly staff!

Drove into Vermont for my moms addition to her bucket list. She has seen all other 49 states ...but not Vermont. Drove in from Michigan and they did not have main floor room. One of the front office staff went our of her way to make sure the next day we could move to the first floor...and it was early the next morning. The staff is very friendly and the one that helped me so much was Meme. Lost my adapter for my cell phone and one of the front desk girls at night offered me hers to use until she left. Rooms were great but the nicest people you will meet behind the desk....come just to see their smiles and if you have an issue they will take care of you!!

Anchorage inn is a nice centrally located hotel in south burlington. It's across the street from the university mall. The bus picks up just outside, and burlington is 10 minutes away. The inn has an indoor pool and hot tub.

Rooms are all strictly non-smoking and vary from 1 king, to three twins, to suites with a kitchenette. Their standard, and least expensive room is a 2 queen room. The bathrooms are cramped and utilitarian consisting of a dated shower/tub combo and a toilet. The decor of the room is generally pleasing but does show its age in places. All rooms have 1 27in hd tv. WiFi is free though it's average. There is no elevator, though they do have handicap access via the front entrance to the first floor only. All rooms have independent climate control.

I cannot speak much to their service. I sleep during their cleaning hours. The front desks solution was for me to take care of the room myself. Upon arrival the room was mostly clean, dusted, and adequately stocked. The only reason i say mostly clean is because the carpet beneath the beds needs to be cleaned more frequently.

During my stay over the week before the week of thanksgiving the hotel was mostly booked by traveling contractors and truckers.

This hotel was exactly what was needed for a great night’s stay passing through Burlington. The location is conveniently located to tons of nearby restaurants, coffee shops, the mall, and downtown Burlington is just minutes away. We arrived late at night and the front desk was very kind and accommodating, getting us checked in quickly. Clean and quiet, spacious rooms, would definitely stay again!
