The ladies working here are Dutch! So fun to talk Dutch to someone again. Lovely ladies, bought a ton of Dutch goodies. Kroepoek, borrelbootjes, hagelslag, ketjap, drop, sambal, gevulde speculaas. Made my day!

This store sells cheeses, imported German and Dutch products, fabulous cookies, pies, pastries, bread and European condiments you cannot get anywhere else in this area. The owner is lovely and knows every product in the store.

I love this place. Once a month my husband and I stop in and and gorge ourselves on unpronounceable candy! Good selection of cheeses too and grab one of Wilma’s soft pretzels—if there are any left!

My family used to come to this shop for many years while visiting family. Decided to take a drive from LI and stopped in. It was like stepping into the past, in a good way! Great specialty and baked foods. Bought the Dutch Apple tart and a few other things and they are all delicious as they were all those years ago! If you haven't been there, you should, you won't be disappointed.

Been going for years. The definition of local and excellent. Lovely people, great foodstuffs, both made in-house and imported.

An awesome stop along route 202. The baked goods are incredible, flaky croissants and homemade pretzels are the kid favorite in our family and the cinnamon roll is tops for me. They offer a variety of imported Dutch and German foods as well as premade homemade foods and a deli. Friendly service as well. Definitely worth a stop, feels like you are in Europe.

If you are looking for the best in food, you have finally found it here, nice people running store is a plus. Croissants taste just like the ones I would help my departed Alsatian mother make.

Best pretzels in the state. Buttery, salty, crunchy and chewy all in one bite! (Call ahead to reserve as they don’t last long). Zucchini cake is amazing as is the breads, pies and cakes. Unique selection of select groceries. The deli and cheese are fresh and delicious.

I'm 41 and been going here since I was 7 after visiting Germany. Love my krakauer but miss the rolls they used to make. Without the rolls I have to find other breads to put the krakauer on which hasn't been working so far, but still a great place to shop for Dutch foods.

Apple Pie Perfection! Apples soft, cooked through. Perfect level of sweetness. Bottom crust nicely set, not soggy. Top crust golden, light, flaky. Very reasonable price for a real home made pie. Thank You!

Starling good selection of imported cheeses, jams and crackers as well as sausages and more. I appreciated the individualized attention as I assembled a picnic lunch.

A fantastic spot for a great variety of European foods, with an emphasis on (you guessed it) Dutch goods. The cheese and meat selection are outstanding, and I stop in at least once or twice a month to stock up on some of the best chocolates around (both homemade and imported!)

An iconic bakery and more in the Litchfield Hills. A go to shop for delicious cookies, cakes and pies not to mention all kinds of goodies from cheese to preserves and more imported from Holland! Whenever I am in Litchfield I visit this shop and load up on the baked goods and cheeses.

I walked in the store looking for some stollen for the holiday and was pleased to see that they have several varieties. The store was mobbed, but the staff kept everyone moving along. My family has been going here for years and we've always been delighted with our purchases.
